HE CARES ABOUT US, HE TAKES OUR PRAYERS SERIOUSLY (Psalm 56)

Psalm 56:4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us? David had to run to Gath, a city of the Philistines to escape Saul's pursuit. We remember that Goliath, that he slew was from this city. 1 Samuel 27:1 And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul: [there is] nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast of Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand. Imagine running from your people, cause your king wants to kill you into an enemy's nation, such stress, such exhaustion. Yet David knew that His trust was in the Lord. He was a man, yes he could be afraid. However he put his trust in the Lord, he stayed in prayer. Psalm 56:3 What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. Psa

REALLY YOUR FRIEND(Psalm 55)

Psalm 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Reading through the account of David, we see a man who encountered a lot of challenges, he had enemies around him. Those from outside understandably, however those from inside bring the most pain. For those who oppose you and come out as enemies you could be cautious of, however what of those within your circle, who eat with you, plan with you even go to the house of the Lord with you: Psalms 55:12-14 It is not an enemy who taunts me— I could bear that. It is not my foes who so arrogantly insult me— I could have hidden from them. Instead, it is you—my equal, my companion and close friend. What good fellowship we once enjoyed as we walked together to the house of God. Nothing hurts like betrayal. Thus David prophesied their lot: Psalms 55:20-21,23 As for my companion, he betrayed his friends; he broke his promises. His words are as smooth as butter, but

GIVE THANKS(Psalm 54)

Psalm 54:6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for [it is] good. Beyond every excuse you could give, GIVE THANKS. For the evidence of your faith is not just when everything seems ok, but when the storms are raging. Beyond all the prayer requests and scare of enemies, David understood that we give thanks for it is good and God is good. He made the declaration of thanksgiving even in the midst of threats and danger to his life: Psalms 54:1-3 Come with great power, O God, and rescue me! Defend me with your might. Listen to my prayer, O God. Pay attention to my plea. For strangers are attacking me; violent people are trying to kill me. They care nothing for God. Yet He ended in praise to the Heavenly Father, this is faith. WHAT CAN STOP YOUR PRAISE, YOUR WORSHIP, YOUR THANKSGIVING? Remember: Romans 8:37-39 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever sepa

INSUBORDINATION (Psalm 53)

Psalms 53:1 Only fools say in their hearts,  “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good! It is eazy to ascribe this Psalm to atheists. Well, they are atheists, what do we expect? They have already decided their stand, "I do not believe in God". Now the issue borders on those who claim to believe and yet act and live as if they don't! Yes Psalm 53 is the Psalm Paul was referring to when he talked about all men counted as sinners that we can then be saved under grace. Romans 3:10-12 As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous— not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.” Then the wretchedness of man is revealed, God now redeems man by his faith: Romans 3:30-31 There is only one God, and he makes people right with himself only by faith, whether they are Jews or Gentiles. Well then, if we emphasize faith, does this

EVIL MEN (Psalm 52)

Psalm 52:8 But I [am] like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever. Saul was after David's life, what was David's offence? He was anointed king. This Psalm was written by David when Doeg the Edomite informed  Saul that David went to see the High Priest Ahimelech this led Saul to order his men to kill Ahimelech and the other Levites with him. They refused, Ahimelech was the high priest of God. It was this same Doeg the Edomite that went ahead to kill the priest and eighty-four other priests. 1 Samuel 22:9-10,17-19 Then Doeg the Edomite, who was standing there with Saul’s men, spoke up. “When I was at Nob,” he said, “I saw the son of Jesse talking to the priest, Ahimelech son of Ahitub. Ahimelech consulted the lord for him. Then he gave him food and the sword of Goliath the Philistine.” And he ordered his bodyguards, “Kill these priests of the lord, for they are allies and conspirators with David! They knew he was running aw

RESTORATION (Psalm 51)

Psalms 51:12  Bring me back from gray exile, put a fresh wind in my sails! Every believer who is conversant with the scriptures can recount the story of David and his err in going into another man's wife and the evils he did to coverup. This of course was the reason for this psalm. However we recall that these psalms as we have said in earlier studies were divinely inspired and thus were rich in prophesies and revelations, which one can see when looking and reading without the veil. [2Timothy 3:16&17 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.] We see him speaking of forgiveness just as someone who had not been saved. Psalms 51:1-2,5,7 Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify

JUDGMENT (Psalm 50)

Psalm 50:4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people. This is a Psalm attributed to Asaph, he was a Levite, a psalmist and also a recorder. He lived in the time of David. For David appointed him to minister before the ark of the Lord. 1Chronicles 16:4-6  And he appointed [certain] of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel: Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obededom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals; Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God. Nehemiah 12:46 For in the days of David and Asaph of old [there were] chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God. They did not just write the Psalms, the also received it from David as inspired of the

PROPHESY FROM THE HARP (Psalm 49)

Psalms 49:4(NLT) I listen carefully to many proverbs and solve riddles with inspiration from a harp. The sons of Korah, who ministered in music understood the power of prophesy. They knew what it was to stay in the place of worship and receive revelations. Listen to their prophesy of redemption: Psalms 49:2,6-8 High and low, rich and poor—listen! They trust in their wealth and boast of great riches. Yet they cannot redeem themselves from death by paying a ransom to God. Redemption does not come so easily, for no one can ever pay enough See its fulfilment: 1 Timothy 2:5-6 For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. Yes, God alone could save man, so He gave Himself, yes His Son, the Word as ransom. He paid our debt. So much love, so great a sacrifice. Yet He did not lose, for with God it is always a win-wi

SURE PROMISE (Psalm 48)

Psalm 48:14  For this God [is] our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide [even] unto death. For we who have believed today are under the covenant of Faith like that of Abraham. For when God promised Abraham and Israel in times of old, He had all who will believe enclosed in His promises. For to them it was a shadow of things to come, but for us the fulfillment of these promises. Hebrews 10:1  For the law having a shadow of good things to come, [and] not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. Isaiah 42:16 And I will bring the blind by a way [that] they knew not; I will lead them in paths [that] they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them. Isaiah 61:1-3 The Spirit of the Lord GOD [is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hat

GOD RULES ON EARTH(Psalm 47)

Psalm 47:2  For the LORD most high [is] terrible; [he is] a great King over all the earth. The book of Psalms is one part of scriptures that debunks the claim of the enemy to rule the earth. It is not his to take and neither at anytime was he given to rule the earth. The rulership and dominion of the earth was the Creator's, and He handed that right to man. Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  What the enemy does is to: John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly. It begins with "the lie", when you fall for it you begin to fall for other things too. Thus we give praise to the Heavenly Father. Yes we are not ignorant

HE IS THERE (Psalm 46)

Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I [am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. This is very much what some of us who believe face time and again, being carried away, the feeling that "God is not there"! The sons of Korah in Psalm 46 knew that same feeling, the did not argue the power of God. Remember that they know the story of their fathers who rebelled against Moses (and thus God) and the ground opened up and swallowed them. Yes they did not doubt the power of God, the question was "was God there, will He help us?" I have personally found myself telling our Heavenly Father. "Your power to help me is not questionable, there is no doubt, but will you help me, will you do it?" The truth is that we only see and know in part, He knows all and thus can make the best decisions. One thing is certain, He has the final say and when He says it every other opinion or voice is "shut up". He told them, "

THE PROPHESY OF CHRIST AND HIS CHURCH (Psalm 45)

Psalm 45:6 Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom [is] a right sceptre. Psalm 45, another Psalm of the sons of Korah, was believed by the Jews as a prophesy of the coming Messiah. Truly it is, for we see Christ and His church in this great poetry. Psalm 45:11  So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he [is] thy Lord; and worship thou him. The love of Christ for His bride "the church", is so greatly expressed in this Psalm. It is a loss for anyone to be outside of this love. No matter what, the glory of Christ and His church can not be prevailed against. It is from everlasting to everlasting. Psalm 45:17  I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever. Isaiah 9:6&7  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Fath

BY HIS SPIRIT

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: The dispensation of the now is cited as that in which the expression of the Heavenly Father's Spirit is fully released, however we know that God's Spirit has been active from the beginning even from the time of creation. The Son, yes the Word, Yeshua, Jesus the Christ has been described by so many sects and denominations, however the wise would know Him for who He said He is and who His Father says He is: For we understand that the Spirit of the Father is also the Spirit of the Son and is this same Spirit that was released to us freely from the day of Pentecost. This morning we are reminded to be conscious of God's Spirit in us, making the most of His presence to make the right decisions and to always do good. For that is His nature. Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy

REMEMBER THE TESTIMONIES (Psalm 44)

Psalm 44:1  We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, [what] work thou didst in their days, in the times of old. We do well to remember the victories of the past, for they keep us strong and make us hope again. For He that brought about the victory before will yet do it again. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Psalm 44:6-8  For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me. But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us. In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah. For one thing we must learn from the Psalms is that His praise must continually be in our mouth. Halleluyah We have a victory greater than these writers had, we ought to have praise as our second language. Yes. Father we give you all the glory for you have given us victory. He calls us blessed. Love @the watcher.

DRY YOUR TEARS (Psalm 43)

Psalm 43:2 For thou [art] the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? We may want to blame David for complaining, having that feeling that God is not there. Have you really faced what He faced? The struggles of believers have not been even in latter times, the reason being the wide spread of acceptance and generalization of the faith. When the church came into politics and government systems, it became eazy to say that you believed. However, places do exist where christians are not at liberty to practice in peace, neither are they free to share their faith, here real tribulations and trials exist. Never get it twisted, every person's work must be tried: 1 Corinthians 3:13  Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. No one is excluded unless we are not walking with Christ.

WHERE IS YOUR GOD?(Psalm 42)

Psalm 42:1 As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. Have you been asked that question? Most times a mockery of your faith. When people see you going through challenges. It could come from anyone. Job's wife asked him to curse God and die! I remember my dad narrating to us an attitude of a briton he worked with. For anything that looked like a challenge to my dad then at work, the briton would say, "see, your God has failed you". David faced this kind of mockery, within his family, from the king, from Goliath and other adversaries, yet he did not let them weigh him down. His heart still longed after his God like the deer for water. The sons of Korah must have experienced such testimony or have learnt from David, for they knew to turn to God. Why would he not be called a man after God's heart? Can we be called a people after God's heart? Or has something else taken God's place in our lives? Psalm 42:8 [

My True Friend (Psalm 41)

Psalm 41:12  And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever. How many of us can relate with David's lamentations in Psalm 41? He did have reasons to, for he experienced betrayals and knew the attack of enemies. Christ experienced same, the one He called disciple was to betray Him with a kiss, while the one He was to make commander denied Him thrice. John 2:24-25 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all [men], And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man. We cannot do without people, we all need friends, people in the different aspects of our lives. However, we must know the one true friend: John 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. He is the true friend, all He asks is that we dwell in obedience, for that is your

THE WAIT - PATIENCE (Psalm 40)

Psalm 40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. This is one of the most difficult part of the believers walk. To wait on the Lord. Some have thus called the Lord slow, why has the Lord delayed, why has He not answered my prayers, why has He not given me x or y? Truly it is not easy to wait, yet the waiting is the patience, it is part of our christian walk. For without patience we cannot be perfect and wanting nothing: James 1:4 But let patience have [her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Without this singular attribute of God's Spirit we cannot finish well: Luke 8:15  But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep [it], and bring forth fruit with patience. Luke 21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls. All those who walked in patience were able to fulfill God's will, for it is in patience that we can give room for the Spirit of Go

PRIDE = FOOLISHNESS (Psalm 39)

Psalm 39:4 LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it [is; that] I may know how frail I [am]. What will make a man so proud, to think so highly of "self", can we estimate what we are, what our flesh/self is worth? Psalm 39 says that at the highest peak of man's achievement, man is still vanity. Psalm 39:5  Behold, thou hast made my days [as] an handbreadth; and mine age [is] as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state [is] altogether vanity. Selah. Psalms 39:5(NLT) You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to you; at best, each of us is but a breath.”Interlude How foolish to keep acquiring riches, heaping and heaping them, how foolish are those politicians and people in power who loot and cart away common wealth. How much of it will they spend or enjoy. They die and pass away most times from sicknesses and diseases that money cannot heal them of. They live in pain, fa

GET IT RIGHT(Psalm 38)

Psalm 38:1  O LORD, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. We know that the coming of the Messiah, His death and resurrection brought us out of the bondage of sin and death. This miracle David did not experience so we understand his prayers in Psalm 38. However every wrong doing has its repercussion, for the Lord has put things in place for He is the creator. There is a reward for all our actions be they good or bad. Galatians 6:7  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Yes, for some, especially those who have given themselves high seats in Heavenly places, think that they are immune to the consequences of their actions. They did beware, for the bible says: Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened [his] mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: David saw the repercussion of his actions, he pleaded for mercy. He knew that those who hated him would take advantage to moc

THE MIRAGE (Psalm 37)

Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring [it] to pass. We learn from David that all is not what it seems. Truly there are those the Lord granted wealth, people that may not have known Him yet He allows them to succeed. People like Nebuchadnezzar of old who God allowed to rule and conquer. We have some of such today. My belief is that everyone is born with talents and gifts, however what you do with it is up to you. It takes an encounter with the Lord to understand that everything we have received is for good works and we will account for it. The wise thing to do is to serve the Lord. This is not just going to church but shining the light of God into the world. Proverbs 4:18 But the path of the just [is] as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Isaiah 60:1  Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is ri

LOSS TO THE WICKED (Psalm 36)

Psalm 36:4 He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way [that is] not good; he abhorreth not evil. It never pays to be counted as the wicked, for the author of life and judge of all has prepared judgment for anyone who has chosen the path of unrighteousness. What excuse does one have to walk in the path of unrighteousness? For truly it is a choice. For all temptation is common to man: 1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it]. Thus "you are inexcusable o man". Why should anyone choose wickedness, when the Heavenly Father shows so much mercy? Psalm 36:5  Thy mercy, O LORD, [is] in the heavens; [and] thy faithfulness [reacheth] unto the clouds. For all that comes out of wickedness is punishment. See how evil it could be: Psalm

MINE AND HIS (Psalm 35)

Psalm 35:6 Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify [themselves] against me. For if you are the Heavenly Father's own, those who fight you, fight Him and those who bless you, bess Him. Psalm 35:27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. It is not a privilege of a few who claim to be prophets, pastors, men of God or whatever titles the claim. No it is for anyone who has believed and walk in obedience with Christ. Psalm 35:9 And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation. Ephesians 1:3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly [places] in Christ: For unless the sacrifice is for the Lord's glory no one can toil around with the

THE LORD TAKES CARE OF HIS OWN(Psalm 34)

Psalm 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. The book of Psalms emphasizes the Lord's favour on those who put their trust in Him. He categorizes them as the righteousness for their way of live pleases the Lord. The Lord calls them blessed: Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD [is] good: blessed [is] the man [that] trusteth in him. All through scriptures it has been so, the righteous are those who walk in the will of the Lord, they are humble, the put their trust in the Lord, their nature is love and the do good continually. However the other category are those who choose the path of unrighteousness, they are proud, their feet run to do evil and they do not put their trust in God. Psalm 34:12-14  What man [is he that] desireth life, [and] loveth [many] days, that he may see good?  Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.  Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. For this re

HE DESERVES OUR PRAISE (Psalm 33)

Psalm 33:1  Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: [for] praise is comely for the upright. Who should know this than the maestro himself, the man of worship, David. He talked of worship on the instruments. The today guitar and piano. Even the loud music, it all belongs to Him. We sing new songs for His Spirit in us empowers us to worship. Halleluyah Psalm 33:3 Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise. We should remember that when we worship the Heavenly Father we remember all His glorious works just as David did. He said, Psalm 33:6-7 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses. True believers live the life of worship. No one can achieve any great thing without the Lord permitting. For it is the Lord that lifts up. Psalm 33:16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not de

AT PEACE WITH THE LORD(Psalm 32)

Psalm 32:1&2 Blessed [is he whose] transgression [is] forgiven, [whose] sin [is] covered. Blessed [is] the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit [there is] no guile. The best thing to happen to man is to come before the Heavenly Father and be blameless. Can any man claim perfection, can anyone say they have covered all the corners and no err is found in them? Yes. They are the ones who love the Lord. John 14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments. Do you know that the promise of the Holy Spirit was tied to obedience? It is thus a wonder that one would claim to have the Holy Spirit and yet work in disobedience. (John 14 :15-17) Galatians 5:17  For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. There is no way we can be born of the Spirit and still work in fruit of the flesh (in sin) never! it does not correlate. Ephesians

WE HOPE IN THE LORD(Psalm 31)

Psalm 31:24  Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD. It has been like that from the fall of man, that the wicked envies and seeks the downfall of the righteous. From the hatred or envy that caused Cain to strike Abel to death, to Joseph's brothers seeking his death. What of the seeking of Saul to kill David? Then Daniel's colleagues in Babylon seeking to find fault in him that he would be executed. The examples abound in scriptures, and it has continued even till today. No wonder the Messiah taught us: Matthew 10:16  Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. For the worst and most painful is betrayal from those who we call family or friends. David in Psalm 31, cried out for God's help to keep him from enemies. He understood that his trust was in the Lord. Psalm 31:13-14 For I have heard the slander of many: fear [was] on every side: while the

HE HAS DONE THE GREATEST THING(Psalm 30)

Psalm 30:11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; When Christ proclaimed the reason for His coming as prophesied by Isaiah many in the synagogue at that time looked up expectantly. Hope was awakened. (Luke 4) Of course they saw healings, great teaching and many wonderful works yet they did not recognize the biggest of all. The sacrifice of Himself to set man free from the law of sin and death. Glory to God. We live today free because of what He did. As we continue to praise Him for all the pockets of blessings here and there, let us remember the greatest of all. " That we may be called the children of God . " 1John 3:1  Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Glory to God. So we can rejoice like David declared: Psalm 30:12 To the end that [my] glory may sing

THE VOICE OF THE LORD (Psalm 29)

Psalm 29:2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. The Supremacy and Sovereign power of the Heavenly Father can not be overemphasized. For we live in times when man has been so distracted away from His maker for even though it seems they call His name, their heart actually is somewhere else. Most people even most believers feel that the Lord is quiet. Yes for many have not learnt to hear His Voice speak to them. It reminds us of the first encounter of the people of Israel with the Lord on Mount Sinai: Exodus 20:18-19 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw [it], they removed, and stood afar off. And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. (Do read chapters 19 and 20) Many who say today "Thus says the Lord", how many of them have really heard the voic

THE LORD HAS HELPED US (Psalm 28)

Psalms 28:7 The lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving. It is the Lord that has kept us, for if we had looked at man we wonder where we will be. So many though having smiles on their face yet it is evil plans that fill their hearts: Psalms 28:3b those who speak friendly words to their neighbors while planning evil in their hearts. (Though good people do live in our world today) For why do we have fightings, troubles and wickedness in the world? Those who refused to focus on their path, who do not know their purpose but feel that they must interfere or overtake someone else. They compare themselves and are not contented, so they steal what belongs to others and envy the progress of others. James 4:1-3 What is causing the quarrels and fights among you? Don’t they come from the evil desires at war within you? You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get i

POWER BELONGS TO GOD - The Lord has you covered. (Psalm 27)

Psalm 27:1 The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Some even in the household of faith misplace the position of fear.  There is no place in scriptures were we are told to fear the enemy. Fear should only be of our God, yes the Heavenly Father. Psalm 27:3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this [will] I [be] confident. For man and powers can boast of many things but power belongs to the Lord. Psalm 62:11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power [belongeth] unto God. For He is the one that has the power of life and death, the one who has authority over this life and the one after. The Almighty God. Many who make so much noise about the enemies
