INSUBORDINATION (Psalm 53)

Psalms 53:1
Only fools say in their hearts,  “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good!

It is eazy to ascribe this Psalm to atheists. Well, they are atheists, what do we expect? They have already decided their stand, "I do not believe in God".

Now the issue borders on those who claim to believe and yet act and live as if they don't!

Yes Psalm 53 is the Psalm Paul was referring to when he talked about all men counted as sinners that we can then be saved under grace.

Romans 3:10-12
As the Scriptures say,
“No one is righteous— not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless.
No one does good, not a single one.”

Then the wretchedness of man is revealed, God now redeems man by his faith:

Romans 3:30-31
There is only one God, and he makes people right with himself only by faith, whether they are Jews or Gentiles.
Well then, if we emphasize faith, does this mean that we can forget about the law? Of course not! In fact, only when we have faith do we truly fulfill the law.

The question is, why should a person who have received such grace, then go ahead to live like those who say "there is no God"?

For your work is a product of your faith. Selah

You cannot just profess it by mouth, you must live what you believe.

Else the consequences of those who do not believe will abound.

Psalms 53:5
Terror will grip them, terror like they have never known before.
God will scatter the bones of your enemies. You will put them to shame, for God has rejected them.

For we live in times when men lead many astray in the name of the Lord. Instead of interceding for the flock and leading them by the Spirit they do otherwise:

Psalms 53:4
Will those who do evil never learn? They eat up my people like bread and wouldn’t think of praying to God.

All these disrespect to the Heavenly Father must stop unless they desire His wrath.

We must remember that no matter how low or high we are, our hierarchy begins with the Heavenly Father, He is above every other authority. Hope we know what that means?

May we never be faulted for insubordination. The Lord will help us.

2Thessalonians 3:5
And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

He calls us blessed.
