From scriptures we see through the time of existence that God allows authorities to exist and people to do their things. We should understand that the earth was created as an extension of God's kingdom and that man was created to take care of it. However man being the image of God, also has the power of decision making as God has, thus man could choose to obey or disobey, this of course led to man's wrong decision in the first place that caused man's fall. Psalm 74:10 O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever? Asaph one of the psalmist of the ark, sings of God's judgment on the wicked. Psalms 73:13 Did I keep my heart pure for nothing? Did I keep myself innocent for no reason? Most of us may have at one point or another thought like this. Why the discipline, why live right, what is the need for all these faithfulness? Just as the Psalmist thought in Psalm 73. Those who lived wrongly, who choose wicked ways and do abominable things seem to prosper, it seemed to him that they had no troubles at all. Psalm 68:19 Blessed [be] the Lord, [who] daily loadeth us [with benefits, even] the God of our salvation. Selah. Truly he is the Good God.  We could find this to say when we are Not passing through challenges or trials. For when there are challenges and trials, when the burden seems to be too heavy, we could tend to focus all our energy especially our life energy on it. Proverbs 14:12 There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death. From our earlier topic, we understand that there is more to life than the one we have now. When we have spent this short century we are given, we begin the endless journey of eternity. Knowing that the after life is more important than the present life, we then need to be careful. The reason being that, this life would determine our eternity, so we have to live right. Now the question is what exactly is living right and who are we trying to please? We are trying to please God and it is He who determines what living right is! So how do we know what God wants? As simple or difficult these questions seems, they are key to our eternal life. Psalm 60:11 Give us help from trouble: for vain [is] the help of man. Who is your helper, for me the Lord is my helper. Troubles come in diverse forms.
