THE LORD TAKES CARE OF HIS OWN(Psalm 34)
Psalm 34:7
The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
The book of Psalms emphasizes the Lord's favour on those who put their trust in Him. He categorizes them as the righteousness for their way of live pleases the Lord.
The Lord calls them blessed:
Psalm 34:8
O taste and see that the LORD [is] good: blessed [is] the man [that] trusteth in him.
All through scriptures it has been so, the righteous are those who walk in the will of the Lord, they are humble, the put their trust in the Lord, their nature is love and the do good continually.
However the other category are those who choose the path of unrighteousness, they are proud, their feet run to do evil and they do not put their trust in God.
Psalm 34:12-14
What man [is he that] desireth life, [and] loveth [many] days, that he may see good?
Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
For this reason Christ came that all can walk in the path of righteousness. For as He explained to Nicodemus we who come to Him, He re-births, that we may have the new life by His Word and His Spirit.
John 3:7
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
People would say, I know of people who claim to be born again yet their lives are not like the description of the path of righteousness.
Those in these category are those who walk in ignorance, for though they have been adopted to inherit they still live in bondage for they do not know what has happened to them. For the entrance of the Word of God bringeth light. However if you do not know the word, darkness remaineth. They are the ones who do not understand their power of choice, for the try to enjoy a false liberty and have thus erred from the faith. For you cannot be of God and live like the enemy. Selah
Psalm 34 reminds us that God takes care of His own.
Psalm 34:15
The eyes of the LORD [are] upon the righteous, and his ears [are open] unto their cry.
His face is against those who do evil.
Psalm 34:16
The face of the LORD [is] against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
It is not only in this life but also in the life to come.
Yes, just as Christ triumphed over death, we all who have put our trust in Him will also triumph over all things:
Psalm 34:19
Many [are] the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
Yes the deliverance is from them all. Halleluyah.
Those who refuse to repent, those who attack the righteous and those who choose the path of unrighteousness the scriptures prophesies:
Psalm 34:21
Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
But we have a good testimony.
Psalm 34:22
The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
Thus we can rejoice like David:
Psalm 34:1-3
I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise [shall] continually [be] in my mouth.
My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear [thereof], and be glad.
O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
Glory to God, He takes care of us.
Ephesians 5:20
Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Yes, He calls us blessed.
