THE PROPHESY OF CHRIST AND HIS CHURCH (Psalm 45)

Psalm 45:6
Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom [is] a right sceptre.

Psalm 45, another Psalm of the sons of Korah, was believed by the Jews as a prophesy of the coming Messiah. Truly it is, for we see Christ and His church in this great poetry.

Psalm 45:11
So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he [is] thy Lord; and worship thou him.

The love of Christ for His bride "the church", is so greatly expressed in this Psalm. It is a loss for anyone to be outside of this love.

No matter what, the glory of Christ and His church can not be prevailed against. It is from everlasting to everlasting.

Psalm 45:17
I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.

Isaiah 9:6&7
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

What glory, what splendor awaits us at His return. The wait, the patience and faithfulness is worth it.

Psalms 45:13-15
The bride, a princess, looks glorious in her golden gown.
In her beautiful robes, she is led to the king, accompanied by her bridesmaids.
What a joyful and enthusiastic procession as they enter the king’s palace!

We are reminded of the transformation that will come on us at His return!

Philippians 3:21
Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

1John 3:2
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

We will not miss out, we remain faithful, we continue in service to the Heavenly Father. We continue to do good. We walk by His Spirit, we give Him glory.

Glory to God.

Ephesians 3:21
Unto him [be] glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

He calls us blessed.
