Psalm 85:13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set [us] in the way of his steps. When we read the Psalms we see more than just the singing of songs, or rhymes to poetry or writings. It is not just the memorial of the experiences of the people of Israel or the happenings to David or the other kings of those times. We see revelation born out of true worship, praise and intercession to our Heavenly Father. The greatest of all being the prophesy of the revelation of the Messiah and the great things He will do for all peoples. This is why, the Messiah the Christ quoted from there, so did Paul and Peter and others who wrote. The old testament fulfilled in its revelation by the very Spirit of God, the Spirit of prophesy. We keep wandering why people could carry such evil thoughts in their heart against another. It should not be strange to us for it has been so since the fall of man.
