WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE FOR US (Psalm 85)

Psalm 85:13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set [us] in the way of his steps. When we read the Psalms we see more than just the singing of songs, or rhymes to poetry or writings. It is not just the memorial of the experiences of the people of Israel or the happenings to David or the other kings of those times. We see revelation born out of true worship, praise and intercession to our Heavenly Father. The greatest of all being the prophesy of the revelation of the Messiah and the great things He will do for all peoples. This is why, the Messiah the Christ quoted from there, so did Paul and Peter and others who wrote. The old testament fulfilled in its revelation by the very Spirit of God, the Spirit of prophesy. For all scriptures testify of the Messiah, Jesus the Christ. Halleluyah. John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. In Psalm 85 we see the declaration of God's mercy, forgiveness

WHAT ARE YOU COMFORTABLE WITH? (Psalm 84)

Psalms 84:10 A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked. We know we are no longer in the time of ignorance. God has fulfilled His temple by the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus. John 4:21, 23-24 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. But the time cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth. Thus when we read about the house of the Lord we do not just see a building but His presence. Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Thus it is not the outside of the cup that matters but the inside. Matth

HE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT (Psalm 83)

Psalms 83:18 Then they will learn that you alone are called the lord, that you alone are the Most High, supreme over all the earth. This Psalm of Asaph was written when there was a great conspiracy against Israel, it seemed that all had formed alliance to wipe them out, the Psalm called for their destruction. I love Psalm 76:10. .. Psalm 76:10 Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain. Even the wrath of man will bring God praise, for just as Asaph sang of their past victories, the way the Lord dealt with those who had gathered like that previously, we understand that it will always end for our good while the Heavenly Father is glorified. For while Joseph's brothers were planning his extinction, the Heavenly Father used the same to raise him to become father to the greatest king at the time. Genesis 45:8 So now [it was] not you [that] sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house

Being god (Psalm 82)

Psalms 82:6 I say, ‘You are gods; you are all children of the Most High. This is one of the shortest Psalms, yet so significant that the Messiah quoted from it. John 10:32 Jesus replied, “It is written in your own Scriptures that God said to certain leaders of the people, ‘I say, you are gods!’ The Hebrew word there is "Elohim", which could refer to the Heavenly Father, could refer to gods or could also refer to angels, depending on its use or implication. However what we are taught in this Psalm is that at whatever place we play the god role we should remember that there is only one God to whom all gods must account to for He judges all: Psalm 82:1  God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods. We must give account of that position we occupy. Psalm 82:2-4 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.  Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and nee

OBEDIENCE (Psalm 81)

Psalms 81:13 Oh, that my people would listen to me! Oh, that Israel would follow me, walking in my paths! The history of Israel remains the example of Christ's relation to His church today, for we learn not to make the same mistakes that those who were rejected made. The story begins from their freedom from the hands of the Egyptian taskmasters, for it was while they were there we can say that the nation of Israel was formed. For when they arrived Egypt we saw them as Jacob and his family. Genesis 46:2-3 During the night God spoke to him in a vision. “Jacob! Jacob!” he called.“Here I am,” Jacob replied. “I am God, the God of your father,” the voice said. “Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will make your family into a great nation. Psalms 81:1-4 Sing praises to God, our strength. Sing to the God of Jacob. Sing! Beat the tambourine. Play the sweet lyre and the harp. Blow the ram’s horn at new moon, and again at full moon to call a festival! For this is

DO NOT TAKE HIS LOVE FOR GRANTED (Psalm 80)

Psalm 80:2 Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come [and] save us. The children of Israel after their exodus from Egypt had the habit of continually going against the way of the Lord, they just kept whoring with other gods. They seem to always want to rebel. Romans 10:21  But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people. However, while the people where holding on to their being children of Abraham without walking in faith as he did, the Heavenly Father was taking care of the whole world. Salvation to all, that all nations will return to Him. Matthew 3:9  And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to [our] father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. For Abraham was a blessing to all people. Genesis 18:18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be bless

THE LORD HAS SHOWN US MERCY (Psalm 79)

Psalm 79:13 So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations. What if Christ had not paid the price, what if we had to pay for our sins? The burden would be so heavy, oh what hopelessness. Psalms 79:8-9 Do not hold us guilty for the sins of our ancestors! Let your compassion quickly meet our needs, for we are on the brink of despair. Help us, O God of our salvation! Help us for the glory of your name. Save us and forgive our sins for the honor of your name. Why should pagan nations be allowed to scoff, asking, “Where is their God?” John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. Jeremiah 31:34  And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their in

TEACH YOUR CHILDREN (Psalm 78)

Psalm 78:4 We will not hide [them] from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done. There is a reason why God chose Abraham to be the father of the generation from which the earth will be saved. Yes he was a man of faith and God knew he will teach his children: Genesis 18:17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. Psalm 78 speaks of how the fathers erred. They ought to have been the carriers of hope, yes of faith, for they saw great miracles, yet the could not give a good report. What examples did they show, for the ve

REMEMBER THE TESTIMONIES (Psalm 77)

Psalm 77:11 I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old. Almost all believers would have at one time or the other felt what the Psalmist was referring to in Psalm 77: Psalms 77:1-4 I cry out to God; yes, I shout. Oh, that God would listen to me! When I was in deep trouble, I searched for the Lord. All night long I prayed, with hands lifted toward heaven, but my soul was not comforted. I think of God, and I moan, overwhelmed with longing for his help.Interlude You don’t let me sleep. I am too distressed even to pray! Where is the grace, where is the open heavens? Why are things not working for me, has the Lord turned His face away? Why are my enemies having a filled day? Psalms 77:7-10 Has the Lord rejected me forever?  Will he never again be kind to me? Is his unfailing love gone forever? Have his promises permanently failed? Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he slammed the door on his compassion?Interlude And I said, “This is

GOD THE ALMIGHTY (Psalm 76)

Psalms 76:4 You are glorious and more majestic than the everlasting mountains. How great is our God the Almighty. The greatness of our Heavenly Father cannot be described in mere words, for no matter what we try to compare, it cannot be enough. Psalm 76 sings of His power, and that side of Him that no one should desire to face, the one that faces His enemies. Psalms 76:7-8(NLT) No wonder you are greatly feared! Who can stand before you when your anger explodes? From heaven you sentenced your enemies; the earth trembled and stood silent before you. Then the oppressed are set free: Psalms 76:9 You stand up to judge those who do evil, O God, and to rescue the oppressed of the earth. For even the wrath of men still bring Him praise, for when they gang in wrath against God's own, He shows His might and thus brings glory to Himself: Psalm 76:10  Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain. For even those who destroy, do not

ALL THANKS TO HIM WHO HAS THE FINAL SAY (Psalm 75)

Psalm 75:1 Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, [unto thee] do we give thanks: for [that] thy name is near thy wondrous works declare. Nothing on earth goes on without the knowledge of the Heavenly Father. Even though sometimes we feel He is not there or He does not care, however indeed He does. From scriptures we see through the time of existence that God allows authorities to exist and people to do their things. We should understand that the earth was crested as an extension of God's kingdom in territory and that man was created to take care of it. However man being the image of God, also has the power of decision making as God has, thus man could choose to obey or disobey, this of course led to man's wrong decision in the first place that caused man's fall. Yet we must not forget the Heavenly Father's sovereignty. For HE HAS THE FINAL SAY. Yes He overrides all other authorities. Thus the Psalmist revealed: Psalm 75:6-7 For promotion [cometh] neither from

THEY WILL NOT ESCAPE (Psalm 74)

Psalm 74:10 O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever? Still on judgment on the wicked, Asaph one of the psalmist of the ark, sings of God's judgment on the wicked. The recurring question: Psalms 74:10-11 How long, O God, will you allow our enemies to insult you? Will you let them dishonor your name forever? Why do you hold back your strong right hand? Unleash your powerful fist and destroy them. The same way those who have been killed for the sake of the gospel ask: Revelation 6:9-11 When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of all who had been martyred for the word of God and for being faithful in their testimony. They shouted to the Lord and said, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you judge the people who belong to this world and avenge our blood for what they have done to us?” Then a white robe was given to each of them. And they were told to rest a little longer until th

WHY LIVE RIGHT? (Psalm 73)

Psalms 73:13 Did I keep my heart pure for nothing? Did I keep myself innocent for no reason? Most of us may have at one point or another thought like this. Why the discipline, why live right, what is the need for all these faithfulness? Just as the Psalmist thought in Psalm 73. Those who lived wrongly, who choose wicked ways and do abominable things seem to prosper, it seemed to him that they had no troubles at all. That nobody bothers them: Psalms 73:3-7 For I envied the proud when I saw them prosper despite their wickedness. They seem to live such painless lives; their bodies are so healthy and strong. They don’t have troubles like other people; they’re not plagued with problems like everyone else. They wear pride like a jeweled necklace and clothe themselves with cruelty. These fat cats have everything their hearts could ever wish for! He then wandered why it was that we who did right seemed to face challenges and attack here and there: Psalms 73:14 I get nothing bu

THE SELFLESS KING (Psalm 72)

Psalm 72:2  He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment. This Psalm is attributed to Solomon, son of David. His record was that of a king whose desire was for his people, to rule them in wisdom and justice. 1 Kings 3:8-12 And here I am in the midst of your own chosen people, a nation so great and numerous they cannot be counted! Give me an understanding heart so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong. For who by himself is able to govern this great people of yours?” The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for wisdom. So God replied, “Because you have asked for wisdom in governing my people with justice and have not asked for a long life or wealth or the death of your enemies— I will give you what you asked for! I will give you a wise and understanding heart such as no one else has had or ever will have! How many of our leaders today, think this way? Few, I may say, most African leaders are so selfi

TRUSTING FOR THE FUTURE (Psalm 71)

Psalm 71:1 In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion. The character of the believer is to wait on the Lord for direction. Even when the purpose of our existence has been revealed, yet there is the day to day direction from Him who made you, that you may not err. As each day, week, month and year ends we receive instructions and directions on what "the next" should be. Psalm 71:5 For thou [art] my hope, O Lord GOD: [thou art] my trust from my youth. That is how our elders of old lived their lives, and thus the excelled. Talk of Joseph, Samuel, David and Daniel. For even the declaration of death could not stop them from waiting on the Lord in prayers. He who knew us even before we were formed in our mother's womb, what is it we think we have known so much, how many years have we spent that could make us know everything, even those who lived past 500years at those times did not know enough, the wise ones still trusted in the Lord. Psa

YOU WIN (Psalm 70)

Psalms 70:3 Let them be horrified by their shame, for they said, “Aha! We’ve got him now!” It is not new to have people who make themselves architects of the downfall of others. They seem to find joy when something evil happens to anyone who seems a threat, a competition or looks to take away their so called "shine". Most of the time it could be because of envy or just plain foolishness. This was David's prayer for them: Psalms 70:2 May those who try to kill me be humiliated and put to shame. May those who take delight in my trouble be turned back in disgrace. The truth is, as believers we do not need to worry about them - let them do the worrying. In as much as they desire the agitation, let them carry the burden. John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. We learn from our elders past: Joseph: Genesis 50:19-20 And Joseph sai

CRY FOR HELP (Psalm 69)

Psalm 69:16 Hear me, O LORD; for thy loving kindness [is] good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies. At the time of these writings, war was prevalent, for a nation would rise against another, seeking dominance, blood was shed easily and many feared for their lives. It is understandable why the writer of this Psalm cries out to God for help and mercy. We see that his enemies were from within and without. He was provoked and sought destruction, even eternal destruction for his enemies Psalms 69:22-25 Let the bountiful table set before them become a snare and their prosperity become a trap. Let their eyes go blind so they cannot see, and make their bodies shake continually. Pour out your fury on them; consume them with your burning anger. Let their homes become desolate and their tents be deserted. He did not stop there he went on to those who mock and persecute those who are under the Lord's chastisement: Psalms 69:26-28 To the one you have p

HE LOADS US WITH VICTORY (Psalm 68 :18-35)

Psalm 68:19 Blessed [be] the Lord, [who] daily loadeth us [with benefits, even] the God of our salvation. Selah. Truly he is the Good God. Well it is easy to say when one is not passing through challenges or trials. For when there is challenges and trials, when the burden seems to be too heavy, we could tend to focus all our energy especially our  life energy on it. This could weigh us down and make us forget the recent victories and testimonies. Remember, the challenges are always temporary: 1 Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle [you]. Unless we leave this earth, we must face those challenges, thus we must be ready for them. They can't bring us down, they make us better and stronger. For we don't go through them alone - He is with us. Halleluyah. All the oppositions and enemies would yet be brought down. You will sing pra

WE EXPRESS GOD'S VICTORY (Psalm 68:1-18)

Psalm 68:4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him. The greatest evil a man can do to himself is to become an enemy of God. Then who will become your friend? See what Jesus said: Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. The false experience called "fear" and those farce called "lust" or "pleasure" are not real, they are a mirage. Why then should I sacrifice or trade the Heavenly Father's love for them? King Saul stands a perfect example for us. It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the Lord! Hebrews 10:31  [It is] a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Psalms 68:1-2 Rise up, O God, and scatter your enemies. Let those who hate God run for their lives. Blow them away like smoke. Melt them like wax in a fire. L

WE TELL THE PEOPLE HIS PRAISE (Psalm 67)

Psalms 67:3 May the nations praise you, O God. Yes, may all the nations praise you. Is this what we really desire? It is one thing to claim allegiance, it is another to make the sacrifice. Do we know how big the Heavenly Father is? If we have a clue we will make His praise glorious. 1 Timothy 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom [be] honour and power everlasting. Amen. Isaiah 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I [am] the LORD; and [there is] none else. Isaiah 45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else. That is the God we serve. Mighty powerful, beyond imagination. Only one person could declare Him and that is His Word. His only begotten Son. John 1:18 No man hath seen Go

HE DOES GLORIOUS WORKS (Psalm 66)

Psalm 66:1 Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: One thing is sure, praise belongs to God. Psalm 66:2 Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious. Yes, it is easy to become unconscious of His greatness. For yes, God is great and His works are great. For everyone would yet submit to Him. Even those who join the enemy's camp. For when the time comes He has the final say. Psalm 66:3 Say unto God, How terrible [art thou in] thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. Psalm 66:4 All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing [to] thy name. We cannot afford to be like the children of disobedience, for though they saw the sea parted side to side and they went ahead to walk in between them on dry ground to be delivered from their enemy that pursued, yet they did not walk in belief they preferred to doubt and rebel! Psalm 66:5 - 6 Come and see the works of God: [he is]

HE IS IN CHARGE (Psalm 65)

Psalm 65:1  Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed. There is no aspect of our lives that the Heavenly Father cannot take care of. Nothing overwhelms Him.  No matter the doubt in people's hearts they still call on the Heavenly Father. Psalm 65:2  O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. Psalms 65:5 You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds, O God our savior. You are the hope of everyone on earth, even those who sail on distant seas. There was a time as a child we could wonder how He could hear all prayers and deal with all requests and supplication. We could not see His Majesty, His omnipotence and Sovereignty. Yes His power is unlimited and so true it is. Then that which separates us from Him, He has taken care of through His Son who paid the price: Psalms 65:3 Though we are overwhelmed by our sins, you forgive them all. Romans 5:8  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we we

CAPTURED THOUGHTS (Psalm 64)

Psalm 64:10 The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory. We keep wandering why people could carry such evil thoughts in their heart against another. It should not be strange to us for it has been so since the fall of man. What should be strange is we who are believers enabling this thoughts, that should never be. Psalms 64:2-6 Hide me from the plots of this evil mob, from this gang of wrongdoers. They sharpen their tongues like swords and aim their bitter words like arrows. They shoot from ambush at the innocent, attacking suddenly and fearlessly. They encourage each other to do evil and plan how to set their traps in secret. “Who will ever notice?” they ask. As they plot their crimes, they say, “We have devised the perfect plan!” Yes, the human heart and mind are cunning. For we must understand that powers do exist and they influence man by influencing his thoughts. Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against fl

A LOVING GOD OF VICTORY (Psalm 63)

Psalms 63:3(NLT) Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! What is life without God's love?  David made this assertion when he was in the wilderness in Judah. We could forget that when we talk of the Heavenly Father, we talk of the highest authority that be. No government or power in the heavens or earth can compare. For He created all the universe. What makes us forget: troubles, trials, pleasure, flesh and of course fear. Psalms 63:2(NLT) I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory. We are quick sometimes to forget His victories and battles He has fought and won for us. The same way the children of Israel at their time doubted the One who parted the red sea. Romans 8:32  He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? It takes a person whose mind is on the Heavenly Father to live the life of victory, for Mordecai knew that Haman did not hav

POWER BELONGS TO GOD (Psalm 62)

Psalm 62:1  Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him [cometh] my salvation. How lovely the message translation begins this Psalm. Psalms 62:1 (message) God, the one and only -  I'll wait as long as he says. Everything I need comes from him, so why not? The next comes with the introduction of Christ: Psalms 62:2 He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken. Yes the rock, the foundation: 1 Corinthians 10:4  And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. For in these days there is a great falling away, confusions, heresies, lies, lustful desires, manipulations. HOW MANY STILL STAND? Psalms 62:5 Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. What really is your persecution, how many work against you? Psalms 62:3 So many enemies ag

HE TAKES YOU SERIOUSLY (Psalm 61)

Psalms 61:3(message)  You've always given me breathing room, a place to get away from it all, Thank God for His Spirit, when we read through scriptures we are not blinded by the veil, but have an understanding of God's power revealed then and now. Halleluyah. For we see beyond the letter. David from his encounters was able to express, furthermore because of the anointing, He could prophesy about the Messiah and the victory we would have after His coming. When we talk of enemies today, how many of us have faced what he faced during his time on earth?  Yet we must understand that our greatest enemy could be ourselves, for if the Heavenly Father deals with our external enemies, are we ready for Him to deal with us? In all he reveals God's love and brings to light revelations of God’s power, mercy and love for those who put their trust in Him. Psalms 61:1-3 O God, listen to my cry! Hear my prayer! From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is o

HELP FROM GOD (Psalm 60)

Psalm 60:11 Give us help from trouble: for vain [is] the help of man. In our time we do see troubles for the come in divers forms. What may look ordinary to one could be a huge burden to another. However when war, chaos, insecurity, natural disasters and famine exists everyone feels the bite. In all, the true help we can find is in the Lord. For He says that even when a mother has to forget her sucking child He will not forget His own: Isaiah 49:15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. The truth is that we have varying measures of quantifying our challenges, could we just say we want no discomfort at all. Well we live in this earth, we will face challenges. For it is after here He said He will "... wipe away every tear from our eyes". For wisdom says, trust Him through the storm. For many have fallen or erred thinking or have been taught that there would b

HE FIGHTS FOR THE INNOCENT (Psalm 59)

1 Peter 4:14-16 If you are insulted because you bear the name of Christ, you will be blessed, for the glorious Spirit of God rests upon you. If you suffer, however, it must not be for murder, stealing, making trouble, or prying into other people’s affairs. But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name! In Psalm 59 David insists that he did not offend those attacking him. Psalms 59:3-4 They have set an ambush for me. Fierce enemies are out there waiting, lord, though I have not sinned or offended them. I have done nothing wrong, yet they prepare to attack me. Wake up! See what is happening and help me! That is the evil in the world, for some take pleasure in hurting others, they just want to take advantage to cause harm to another literally, emotionally or otherwise. It could be envy, hate, they may feel threatened or just to proof their relevance or authority. In all they do not go unpunished. We see David here

JUDGMENT FOR THE RIGHTEOUS AND UNRIGHTEOUS (Psalm 58)

Psalm 58:11 So that a man shall say, Verily [there is] a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth. Since man took the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he put himself in a dilemma. The battle between good and evil. For one is born tending to do right the other tending to do wrong. Whether it is DNA issue or not I do not know? For we know in part. Psalms 58:3(NLT) These wicked people are born sinners; even from birth they have lied and gone their own way. Case study: Cain and Abel. However this we know, when man comes of age he decides which part he must go, for God told Cain: Genesis 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee [shall be] his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. Yes we can take any decision, do what we like, BUT we cannot determine or control the consequences. Selah So we must remember every work must be repaid, be they good or

HE IS EXALTED (Psalm 57)

Psalm 57:5  Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; [let] thy glory [be] above all the earth. We learn from David to exalt the Lord even in the midst of heavy trials and temptations. When enemies surrounded him, chasing him from place to place. He had to hide in caves, run to the enemy's camp, seek for food for himself and his men. The title "a man after God's heart" he did not give to himself, God described him thus. Acts 13:22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the [son] of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. Many today rejoice in titles, they want to seat in high seats, be praised of men, even to domineer over others. What exactly have they sacrificed? Look at David in all the troubles that came to him, was it his fault that he was anointed king? It was the Heavenly Father who did. He did not ask for it. Yet in all his
