HE DOES GLORIOUS WORKS (Psalm 66)

Psalm 66:1
Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:

One thing is sure, praise belongs to God.

Psalm 66:2
Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious.

Yes, it is easy to become unconscious of His greatness. For yes, God is great and His works are great.

For everyone would yet submit to Him. Even those who join the enemy's camp. For when the time comes He has the final say.

Psalm 66:3
Say unto God, How terrible [art thou in] thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

Psalm 66:4
All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing [to] thy name.

We cannot afford to be like the children of disobedience, for though they saw the sea parted side to side and they went ahead to walk in between them on dry ground to be delivered from their enemy that pursued, yet they did not walk in belief they preferred to doubt and rebel!

Psalm 66:5 - 6
Come and see the works of God: [he is] terrible [in his] doing toward the children of men.
He turned the sea into dry [land]: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him.

May our voice be heard not in murmuring or complain, but in praise of our Living God, the Heavenly Father.

Psalm 66:8
O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:

For even when He allows us to pass through persecutions and trials, it is yet to bring the best out of us and make us mature.

Psalms 66:9-12
Our lives are in his hands, and he keeps our feet from stumbling.
You have tested us, O God; you have purified us like silver.
You captured us in your net and laid the burden of slavery on our backs.
Then you put a leader over us. We went through fire and flood, but you brought us to a place of great abundance.

Glory to God for His works it is all for our good.

Do not forget the promises and vows you made when in trouble or going through difficulties, your discipline to keep them are the sign of your growth and maturity.

2 Corinthians 4:17&18
 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory;
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.

For everything God allows is for a good purpose.

2 Corinthians 9:8
And God [is] able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all [things], may abound to every good work:

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.

Yes, for we do not wait for troubles to make our garments white, we must confess every action of faithlessness and be at peace with our Father daily. We must not allow the unfruitful work of darkness. Sin must not have a place.

Psalms 66:18
If I had not confessed the sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.

For we must let go of every malice and forgive. For we could be our own stumbling block for answered prayers. Help us Lord.

For Christ has paid the price, we should not take it for granted. He has empowered us to live the life pleasing to the Lord. And yes we will. So help us Lord.

Psalms 66:19-20
But God did listen! He paid attention to my prayer.
Praise God, who did not ignore my prayer or withdraw his unfailing love from me.

What a glorious God, what a wise God, oh what great Mercy.

Unto Him be all glory, honour and praise. His works are glorious.

He calls us blessed.
