THE LORD HAS SHOWN US MERCY (Psalm 79)

Psalm 79:13
So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.

What if Christ had not paid the price, what if we had to pay for our sins? The burden would be so heavy, oh what hopelessness.

Psalms 79:8-9
Do not hold us guilty for the sins of our ancestors! Let your compassion quickly meet our needs, for we are on the brink of despair. Help us, O God of our salvation!
Help us for the glory of your name.
Save us and forgive our sins for the honor of your name.
Why should pagan nations be allowed to scoff, asking, “Where is their God?”

John 1:29
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Jeremiah 31:34
 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

We must glorify the Heavenly Father for such love and mercy. Freedom from the power of sin and liberty to live in His righteousness. Halleluyah.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out. Please don't give up, God is still in control Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
