A LOVING GOD OF VICTORY (Psalm 63)
Psalms 63:3(NLT)
Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you!
What is life without God's love? David made this assertion when he was in the wilderness in Judah.
We could forget that when we talk of the Heavenly Father, we talk of the highest authority that be. No government or power in the heavens or earth can compare. For He created all the universe.
What makes us forget: troubles, trials, pleasure, flesh and of course fear.
Psalms 63:2(NLT)
I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory.
We are quick sometimes to forget His victories and battles He has fought and won for us. The same way the children of Israel at their time doubted the One who parted the red sea.
Romans 8:32
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
It takes a person whose mind is on the Heavenly Father to live the life of victory, for Mordecai knew that Haman did not have the say over his life, thus he did not bow, thus what was the end, he replaced him and Haman was hanged on the same gallows he built to hang Mordecai.
Daniel 11:32b
but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do [exploits].
Psalms 63:7-8
Because you are my helper, I sing for joy in the shadow of your wings.
I cling to you; your strong right hand holds me securely.
Can we talk of Daniel who made his decision in the midst of bondage, He declared his stand with God, thus when it was time for war, the Lord showed up for him. For the lions set to devour him was powerless, yet the same lions destroyed his enemies.
Psalms 63:9-10
But those plotting to destroy me will come to ruin. They will go down into the depths of the earth.
They will die by the sword become the food of jackals.
Never take lightly His love, never doubt His victory!
Recall all victories He has won for you and then give Him praise.
Glory to God, we give praise to His Holy name. Halleluyah.
We have victory in His love.
He calls us blessed.
