I HAVE CHOSEN MY PATH (Psalm 26)

Psalms 26:2 Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart. There is this continual argument over grace and law. Does one stay without the other? No matter what the argument is, the right thing is always to settle for what the scripture teaches. What is your grace for? Is it a licence to sin? Let us hear from the apostle of grace himself: Romans 6:1&2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? And again: Romans 8:13  For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. Colossians 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: Grace allows you to make the right choice, just as David said: Psalm 26:3&4  For thy lovingkindness [is] before mine eyes: and I hav

WE DWELL IN HIS GLORY (Psalm 25)

Psalm 25:9-10 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.  All the paths of the LORD [are] mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. The greatest glory is not this present world but the one after here. Though many of us (including me writing) may have become so conscious of this present place. However where we are headed after is more important. The Lord promised us long life, He is interested in our stay here too. That is why Christ said to the faithful: Luke 18:30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting. Halleluyah. No matter what the enemies or the powers try, we are covered by Him even in this present life. Psalm 25:5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou [art] the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. Like David we are refreshed every day. The Spirit of God gives us a new freshness as we go from day to day. We have something g

ALL FOR GOD(Psalm 24)

Psalm 24:1  The earth [is] the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. This singular revelational declaration by David carries so much content and gives the believer the true picture of how things stand. He is God and all things are His, including the earth and all that dwell therein. Isaiah also declared: Isaiah 45:18-22 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I [am] the LORD; and [there is] none else. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else. Some Religious Jews who did not believe in the revelation of the Son, that is, God reaching out to man in human form use this Isaiah prophesy to try to discredit the divinity of the Messiah. For when Christ placed Himself in this place "I am", the bible recorded that they picked up stones to ki

OUR SHEPHERD (Psalm 23)

John 10:14  I am the good shepherd, and know my [sheep], and am known of mine. Psalm 23:1 The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not want. The book of Psalms contains so much prophesy of Christ and His church. David was not just anointed King but he also received the office of a Prophet. His ministry of music was so powerful that immediately David began to play/minister the spirit that troubled Saul left him. Psalm 23 describes the Father revealed in His Son, the Messiah, as the good Shepherd just as the Messiah Himself declared. John 10:11,14 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep. “I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me, He says "I shall not want" meaning that all my needs are met. That is the good Shepherd, he always makes sure we are catered for. Halleluyah Matthew 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. Going on to verse 2:

The Suffering of Christ (Psalm 22)

Matthew 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? (see Psalm 22:1) The Son only knew to live with the Father, He came from the Father's bosom and every of His walk was with the Father: John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. However for our sake He had to bear the unbearable, a seeming separation from the Father, however not as if the Father left Him but He turned His face away from Him as He bore our sins (He that had no sin) 2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Yes, it was a Psalm of David, however he was not literally lamenting what he went through, he was unconsciously standing in the place of a prophet, prophesying the travails of the Messiah on the cross. Yes the Messiah was

WHEN YOUR LEADERS TRUST THE LORD (Psalm 21)

Psalm 21:1  The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! The best thing to happen to a people is to have their leader put his trust in the Lord. Psalm 21:7 For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved. The Lord thus fights His battles, and just as David recounts in Psalm 21, woe unto his enemies. Our country will be prosperous and a joy to live in, if our leaders' hearts were with the Lord. Many of them who claim to be believers are not true, for indeed they seem to worship something else! Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Thus the prayer for our leaders starts before they are even appointed, elected or enthroned. Then it continues afterwards that they will not fall. Woe unto those who say they are of the Lord yet treat those they lead unfairly. Stealing from the common wealth, holding back their wages, cheating them, overstretching them a

FOR WE TRUST IN GOD (Psalm 20)

Psalm 20:1 The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; There are some who teach that the believer never gets into trouble, that the moment you come to Christ all your problems are solved and that you will no longer face any challenges. It is not as if they are wrong, it is just that the miss it somewhere! John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. It is not that you will not face challenges but whatever challenge you face, before you even begin, Christ has overcome. He has given you the victory. 1John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith. Can there be victory, if there was no battle??? Thus we move by faith and not by sight. When you entered in for that programme it looked overwhelming, however if you focus on the end,

WE OVERCOME TEMPTATION (Psalm 19)

Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. No one outgrows temptation, for as long as we live here and dwell in this earthy vessel we are prone to temptation. Thus Christ instructed us to pray that we do not fall into temptation. Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed [is] willing, but the flesh [is] weak. That is why David prayed that prayer, he knew the two stages of sin 1. The meditation of the heart 2. Words and action. Thus David understood that meditating on God's word will keep Him from falling into temptation, for His Word refreshes us each day: Psalms 19:7-11 The instructions of the lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The commandments of the lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the lord are clear, giving insight for living. Rever

GOOD FOR THE GOOD AND BAD FOR THE BAD (Psalm 18)

Psalms 18:25-27 To the faithful you show yourself faithful; to those with integrity you show integrity. To the pure you show yourself pure, but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd. You rescue the humble, but you humiliate the proud. It is a wonder that one would sow corn and expect to reap grapes. Then why do one sow discord and expect to have peace? It has been this way from the beginning, that what we sow is what we reap. Some preachers have manipulated this verse to fleece gullible believers of money however the verse is clear: Let us look at the origin of that quote: Galatians 6:7  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. The very next verse explains what the verse was talking about: Galatians 6:8  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. See how clear the verse becomes: and then: Galatians 6:9&10 A

TRUST IN THE GOD OF CREATION (Psalm 18)

Psalm 18:2 The LORD [is] my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, [and] my high tower. David knew victory and he understood the source, He prayed to the Heavenly Father and He showed His might against his enemies. Psalms 18:3 I called on the lord, who is worthy of praise, and he saved me from my enemies. The battles the Lord fight on our behalf we do not know, just like the millions of calculations and analysis that software we are using does behind the scene before outputting the final result. Most times we just see the result but have no idea the battle that ensued. Just like Daniel who prayed and the bible recorded the battle that ensued because the enemy intercepted the reply. Do we understand how the wall of Jericho was pulled down. What of the tearing apart of the red sea or the sun standing still for Joshua. All these was as a result of God changing fundamentals that He may give v

GOD OF BATTLE

Psalm 17:13 Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, [which is] thy sword: Psalm 17:8 Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings, You would not expect David's prayer to be like that of his son Solomon for David lived in the time of war for all his youthful life he had to fight again and again, from within and without. Solomon enjoined a time of peace, he never had to fight wars for he reaped of the victory of his father and God had granted him wisdom so deep that some came from far just to hear him. I wonder what would have happened if any attempted to war with him, his wealth and wisdom would have been such great tool to conquer and above all the presence of God, he would have been no match for those of his time. Thus when we hear Jesus say: "a greater than Solomon is here" Luke 11:31 We know that Christ came with wisdom itself, that surpass that of Solomon, greater than any that could be

LED BY THE LORD (Psalm 16)

Psalms 16:7 I will bless the lord who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. One privilege those who have come to the Lord enjoy is the Heavenly Father's leading. He leads us by His Holy Spirit, thus we would not be put to shame. Psalm 16:8  I have set the LORD always before me: because [he is] at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on thee]: because he trusteth in thee. This is a contrast to those who reject the Lord, those who feel they could get help from somewhere else, doing those things that the Lord abhors: Psalm 16:4  Their sorrows shall be multiplied [that] hasten [after] another [god]: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips. For any pact with the enemy is already to the human's loss, for the enemy seeks no good thing for anyone.  John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come

FRIENDS OF GOD (Psalm 15)

Psalms 15:1-5(NLT) Who may worship in your sanctuary, lord? Who may enter your presence on your holy hill? Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts. Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends. Those who despise flagrant sinners, and honor the faithful followers of the lord, and keep their promises even when it hurts. Those who lend money without charging interest, and who cannot be bribed to lie about the innocent. Such people will stand firm forever. What kind of person will you invite to your home? Who are your friends? When Christ walked here on earth He taught His disciples on the way to live, it got to the stage where He said that He no longer calls them servants but friends: John 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. He l

A FALSE LIBERTY

Psalm 14:1  The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, [there is] none that doeth good. If one should be free of anything, it should be from iniquity. It is sin that makes the human less than they should be. The greatest sin is rejecting God! Now there is something we can do nothing about, that is our source and origin. We are from God (Genesis 1). That is why Psalm 14:1 calls it foolishness not to believe in God. For we can never be free of God! Acts 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Of course there was a time of ignorance, when many were carried away by a false believe that there was life in carved images and other natural things, however that time has passed: Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: One truth is that man is never a vacuum, somet

THE WAITING - PATIENCE (Psalm 13)

Psalm 13:1 How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me? Waiting is not easy, yes, for those times we are expecting from the Lord it seems as if it is taking too long. This is human nature and if we have not learnt patience and perseverance it could cost us a lot - King Saul is an example for us. 1Samuel 15:24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice. Just like the error of King Saul, most of our impatience is from "What will people say?" It is difficult for one looking for prestige or relevance to walk the way of the Lord for what the people want most times,  contradicts what God expects from us. 1 Corinthians 7:31(NLT) Those who use the things of the world should not become attached to them. For this world as we know it will soon pass away. 1John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust ther

EVIL LIPS

Psalm 12:2 They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: [with] flattering lips [and] with a double heart do they speak. The book of Proverbs cautions us that there are things the Lord hates: Proverbs 6:16-18 These six [things] doth the LORD hate: yea, seven [are] an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, "an EVIL lip" They are like snakes when they open their mouth into your ears, they pour out venoms, causing you to hate and to think negative of someone else. It is a sign of a polluted, envious/jealous, proud and evil heart. Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. We must be mindful that the fact that one goes to church, even

REASSURE YOURSELF IN THE LORD (Psalm 11)

Psalm 11:1 In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee [as] a bird to your mountain? When things look overwhelming the believer should very well be careful the type of advice they accept, for many speak out of ignorance. At the time of writing Psalm 11, it is obvious that David was facing impending threat and most likely from Saul, the advice from his friends was to run. However the most important thing is: "what was God saying?" We shouldn't get carried away with the challenges and feel God doesn't cater for His own. NO Psalm 11:4 The LORD [is] in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne [is] in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. He is displeased with those who walked in unrighteousness: Psalm 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. Yes this was what Prophet Isaiah prophesied: Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed

FEAR GOD

Psalm 10:16 The LORD [is] King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land. The origin of sin, is the lack of the fear of God! Yes, even from the garden of Eden, how dare you discuss Him behind His back! Psalm 10:4  The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek [after God]: God [is] not in all his thoughts. Psalms 10:11(NLT) The wicked think, “God isn’t watching us! He has closed his eyes and won’t even see what we do!” In Genesis chapter 3, this is exactly what played out. Almost all who walk in iniquity think the same way. However what the Messiah taught us was different: John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. This Paul emphasized: Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Yes it is all about our Heavenl

THERE IS JUDGMENT AND CONDEMNATION FOR THE WICKED - HELL (Psalm 9)

Psalm 9:17  The wicked shall be turned into hell, [and] all the nations that forget God. The subject of hell and the punishment of the wicked has been discussed in many circles from three perspectives: * It's existence or non existence * It's intensity and duration * What could lead one do to end up there. The first ideology should not be an issue, unless they decide to disbelieve the bible: Mark 9:43-44 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:  Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. James 3:6 And the tongue [is] a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. 2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast [them] down to hell, and delivered [them] into chains of darkness

LIKE BABES - AWAY WITH PRIDE

Psalm 8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. One of the biggest challenge of man is pride. The very thing the bible teaches us brought Satan down. Many who were called of God allowed themselves to become so self conscious that they attempt to take God's place. "beware" Psalm 8:4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? When we say we must grow as believers, our maturity is not the growth of pride but in faith and in the knowledge of God. However in wrath we must remain babes. Not man of God, but children of God! Selah Matthew 18:3-4 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. This is why when we come to

WE PRAY AND WATCH (Psalm 6 & 7)

Psalm 7:10  My defence [is] of God, which saveth the upright in heart. One thing we notice from some of the Psalms even those of David,  is the reference to enemies. Yes David was a man who always was at war. For from the lion and the bear he faced Goliath and even king Saul was a threat. It very well trained him to be who he was and to be able to rule as king who found favour in God's sight, even with the errors that he made. One thing we can give him, was that his heart was always with the Lord. When we talk of trials and temptations today, we most times miss it for some of the difficulties we face are as a result of our wrong choices, bad characters, laziness and not being led by the Spirit. Why do we pray? One major reason the Messiah gave was that we do not fall into temptation! Mark 14:38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly [is] ready, but the flesh [is] weak. Prayer goes beyond just staying at a place mumbling words. Where is

A CLEAR DEMARCATION(Psalm 5)

Psalms 5:12 For you bless the godly, O lord; you surround them with your shield of love. Psalms 5:5 Therefore, the proud may not stand in your presence, for you hate all who do evil. When we read through the book of Psalms we see a clear cut between those who work in righteousness (the godly) and those who choose to walk in iniquity (the ungodly). There has always been this demarcation, for Christ when teaching Nicodemus compared it to the contrast between light and darkness: John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. Further more He explained: John 3:20&21 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. John still declared: 1John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of hi

CHOOSE YOUR PATH (Psalm 4)

Psalm 4:3  But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him. One thing is certain, when God created man He looked at what He created and saw that it was good. People do ask, "where does evil come from?". Firstly we must understand that there are some things we have no answer to, we may only get to understand fully after this life. 1 Corinthians 13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. However two sources of evil can be identified: * from the evil one (Satan and other evil forces/spirits) * from the wavering thoughts of fallen man *For darkness is the absence of light* For when God is not there, evil most likely reigns Thus is man hopeless? No The power to choose, which is the nature we were created with, gives man the power to decide. When we understand this truth, we would not cower from the intimidation and deceit of the enemy or the world but understand that we have the power to ch

HE DELIVERS US (Psalm 3)

Psalm 3:8 Salvation [belongeth] unto the LORD: thy blessing [is] upon thy people. Selah. We could feel we have so many enemies, that many fight against us, however we shouldn't be overwhelmed for the Lord is able to deliver us, if we put our trust in Him. He has taken care of our highest enemies Satan and Death. Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 1 Corinthians 15:26  The last enemy [that] shall be destroyed [is] death. Yes this are the most dangerous and the Heavenly Father has taken care of them for us, how much more fellow humans and phantom spirits, will He not deal with them for us. It is not that they would not gather against us, but the Lord says they would fall because of us. Isaiah  54:15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, [but] not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. Yes, we must not be

BATTLING CHRIST = BATTLING GOD (Psalm 2)

Psalms 2:12(NLT) Submit to God’s royal son, or he will become angry, and you will be destroyed in the midst of all your activities— for his anger flares up in an instant. But what joy for all who take refuge in him! When the bible says in John chapter one that in the beginning was the word. It is clear for those whose eyes are open to understand that Christ has been from the beginning. Every instruction, every proclamation from the Heavenly Father was the revelation of His Son. So when the people battled against the one God had called, the actually battled Christ. Genesis 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I [am] thy shield, [and] thy exceeding great reward. When Christ said "Abraham saw my day" some assume it was just his encounter with the priest of Salem, it was actually more than that: John 8:56-58 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw [it], and was glad. Then said the Jews un

IN AGREEMENT WITH GOD(Psalm 1)

Psalm 1:1&2 Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.  But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. Man's predicament from the beginning was in rejecting God as King. The enemy dragged man to err the same way he did, to resist God's authority and seek his own. Genesis 3:4&5 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. Isaiah 14:12-15 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend

ALWAYS SPEAKING THE TRUTH (a reminder)

3John 1:4  I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. Everyone desires to live in good health, a complete prosperity that is in BODY, SOUL and SPIRIT! That was what Apostle John was prophesying in the book of 3John. 3John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. Many quote and claim this verse, but do they know the premise to this verse! Let us check: 3John 1:3 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. The criteria for walking in prosperity, body, soul and spirit is "walking in the truth". Firstly, we must remember that Jesus the Christ is the truth: John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, [but] grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Once we have established this we

CHRIST WAS THINKING ABOUT YOU

John 17:20  Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; With the tide of false gospel, fake prophets and liars climbing pulpits and pulling crowds both in edifices and in the media. They display false spirits and do so many differs atrocities in the name of the Lord. Many have now come to think that the Lord has turned His back on this generation. Matthew 24:4-6  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.  And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Many are out there, in so called churches, television sets and social media deceiving people, the Lord neither called or sent them. They actuality serve mammon. Philippians 3:18&19 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, [that they are] the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end [is] destruction, whose God [i

KEEP SHOWING APPRECIATION

Those who walk in love also know how to show appreciation.  1John 4 : 7 - 9 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. At what gesture do we need to show appreciation. It goes beyond culture for the believer, for it does mot just come from the heart, it also comes from our spirit (what Spirit do you carry?) Your ability to show appreciation is a measure of the love inside of you. Every form of appreciation encourages the doer to do more good. It also creates the atmosphere of positivity. Somethings we do take the following for granted: A. The ones who regularly calls or checks up on us. B. The ones who always has a good advice for us. C. The ones who gives us things even as little as recharge cards or pay our t

THINGS FALL APART

1Samuel 30:6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. A person's strength is known not in the time of peace and quiet but in the time of storms, trials and temptations. Proverbs 24:10 [If] thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength [is] small. Yes, for the proof of strength is tested against strong scenarios not against weak things. *  You claim to be honest and prudent, have you handled money or wealth and resisted the temptation to steal or mismanage it? * You claim to be free from sexual immorality, have you been tempted, then you resisted and fled. * You claim to be humble, have you been entrusted with leadership and you resisted pride to ensure you served faithfully? * You claim to love, what is your sacrifices, where are your testimonies? * You claim to be called of God, what fruit
