A FALSE LIBERTY

Psalm 14:1
The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, [there is] none that doeth good.

If one should be free of anything, it should be from iniquity. It is sin that makes the human less than they should be. The greatest sin is rejecting God!

Now there is something we can do nothing about, that is our source and origin. We are from God (Genesis 1).

That is why Psalm 14:1 calls it foolishness not to believe in God. For we can never be free of God!

Acts 17:28
For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Of course there was a time of ignorance, when many were carried away by a false believe that there was life in carved images and other natural things, however that time has passed:

Acts 17:30
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

One truth is that man is never a vacuum, something is always in control, God, the enemy or self.

So it is a false liberty if it is not God in control.

Those who reject God, would forever live in fear, for they know not what to expect.

Sadly there are some whose knowledge of God is only in speech but not in heart, the claim to be of God however their works points to someone else.

Romans 2:5-11
But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.
He will judge everyone according to what they have done.
He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers.
But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness.
There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile.
But there will be glory and honor and peace from God for all who do good—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile.
For God does not show favoritism.

Our bond in God is our liberty from the world, for true liberty is being able to do the will of the Father.

Just as the Messiah said:

Hebrews 10:7
Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

This is why He came, that everyone can experience true liberty, for God gives life and this He brought to us by revealing His Son.

True liberty is fulfilling our purpose, and this is the will of God.

Glory, the Lord sets our feet on the right path, we will fulfil His will, the Heavenly Father will be glorified and we will be satisfied. Halleluyah.

Love
@the watcher.
