ALL FOR GOD(Psalm 24)
Psalm 24:1
The earth [is] the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
This singular revelational declaration by David carries so much content and gives the believer the true picture of how things stand.
He is God and all things are His, including the earth and all that dwell therein.
Isaiah also declared:
Isaiah 45:18-22
For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I [am] the LORD; and [there is] none else.
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else.
Some Religious Jews who did not believe in the revelation of the Son, that is, God reaching out to man in human form use this Isaiah prophesy to try to discredit the divinity of the Messiah. For when Christ placed Himself in this place "I am", the bible recorded that they picked up stones to kill Him.
So people then ask, why is the adversary so angry with man? Why did he desire so much to bring man down?
The adversary was already cast out of heaven, he had made the earth his roaming ground, who is this creation that the Heavenly Father took so much time to create to come to have dominion here?
Thus the enemy wanted man to be in his place "fallen". He knew that he would then have dominion over man.
What of when the Messiah, Christ Jesus was to be revealed, the adversary and all other powers did not really know Him or what He represented, the only knew Him as the Son of God. That is why the enemy dared to offer Him the whole earth. "You can't offer what is not yours".
This has been a lie up till today, many feel that the enemy has the earth and its fullness even the world system. NO!
Psalms 24:1
The earth is the lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him.
This truth Nebuchadnezzar learnt the hard way:
Daniel 4:1-3,32,34,33
Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.
I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me.
How great [are] his signs! and how mighty [are] his wonders! his kingdom [is] an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion [is] from generation to generation.
The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' [feathers], and his nails like birds' [claws].
And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling [shall be] with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion [is] an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom [is] from generation to generation:
Many have also learnt this the hard way, though still some fall into the lie of the enemy up till today. Some have formed pacts with the adversary being promised or seeking great things. The found out too late that it is not for the enemy to give.
Many who are not patient enough have taken God's glory to the enemy for while the Lord had answered their request they having not waited but running from place to place did not know that the Lord had done that which they have asked.
Many a talent and skills giving to man have been abused because they, instead of seeking God, have been carried away by self and the enemy.
It is all about the Heavenly Father!
He has also decided the type of life He desires from us:
Psalm 24:3-5
Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
This is what the Messiah came to do:
Luke 4:18-19
The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
That the anointing would not just rest on David or some special people:
Acts 2:17
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Yes revealed to all men, everyone is given the opportunity:
Titus 2:11-12
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Is your door still closed, have you lifted your head that the King of Glory might come in?:
Psalm 24:7-10
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Who [is] this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift [them] up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he [is] the King of glory. Selah.
Thus the Messiah, Yeshua, Jesus the Christ, calls out to us:
Revelation 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
We who have believed will never go back or astray, instead, we will lead others to believe.
Never forget, all things are by God and for Him, He has left all to His Son and to Him will we all account.
Glory to the Heavenly Father who has all things in His control. To Him be all the praise. We rest in His peace. Halleluyah.
He calls us blessed.
