THERE IS JUDGMENT AND CONDEMNATION FOR THE WICKED - HELL (Psalm 9)
Psalm 9:17
The wicked shall be turned into hell, [and] all the nations that forget God.
The subject of hell and the punishment of the wicked has been discussed in many circles from three perspectives:
* It's existence or non existence
* It's intensity and duration
* What could lead one do to end up there.
The first ideology should not be an issue, unless they decide to disbelieve the bible:
Mark 9:43-44
And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
James 3:6
And the tongue [is] a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
2 Peter 2:4
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast [them] down to hell, and delivered [them] into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
The second category argue about hells duration and intensity:
Mark 5:9 says it never ends. However it will yet be cast into the lake of fire together with death at the later end:
Revelation 20:14
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
This actually faults the believe of some sects that death and hell mean the same thing.
The third and most daring category is about what will lead one to be cast into, or to walk into hell, and ultimately into the lake of fire?
The book of Revelations has the answer:
Luke 12:5
But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
Revelation 20:15
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Thus those who reject God and sinners risk hell.
Glory to the Father for all who accepts Him and live in obedience to Him.
Psalm 9:10
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
Revelation 21:3-4
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
We who are saved are meant to be where the Heavenly Father is, He is not in hell, thus we must not be headed there!
John 14:3
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.
Lord may we every remain with you.
Glory to God.
He calls us blessed.
