HE DELIVERS US (Psalm 3)
Psalm 3:8
Salvation [belongeth] unto the LORD: thy blessing [is] upon thy people. Selah.
We could feel we have so many enemies, that many fight against us, however we shouldn't be overwhelmed for the Lord is able to deliver us, if we put our trust in Him.
He has taken care of our highest enemies Satan and Death.
Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
1 Corinthians 15:26
The last enemy [that] shall be destroyed [is] death.
Yes this are the most dangerous and the Heavenly Father has taken care of them for us, how much more fellow humans and phantom spirits, will He not deal with them for us.
It is not that they would not gather against us, but the Lord says they would fall because of us.
Isaiah 54:15
Behold, they shall surely gather together, [but] not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
Yes, we must not be ignorant of their devices, especially that which will lead us to sin, we thus walk in the Spirit that we do not fail through the flesh (help us Lord). Our victory is sure.
We could miss it by continually being conscious of enemies, this could make us myopic and eventually unfruitful. For life is not all about fighting the enemy. Some have even built ministries on it. Thus it is not God that is taught or magnified, but the enemy and enemies that have taken His place. God forbid!
We have a better testimony than David had then, he said:
Psalm 3:3
But thou, O LORD, [art] a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
For the Messiah had granted us the helmet of salvation and we are fitted by His Spirit with the full armour of God.
We are over-comers thus those who war against us, war against the Heavenly Father. Instead of feeling depressed or defeated we give Him glory for:
1John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Glory to our Heavenly Father, whom it pleases to release His Son to give us the right of sonship. What else can't He do for us. (Romans 8:32)Halleluyah.
Dear Father to you be all the glory, honour and praise. We rejoice for you have given us victory. Halleluyah.
He calls us blessed.
