GOOD FOR THE GOOD AND BAD FOR THE BAD (Psalm 18)

Psalms 18:25-27
To the faithful you show yourself faithful; to those with integrity you show integrity.
To the pure you show yourself pure, but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd.
You rescue the humble, but you humiliate the proud.

It is a wonder that one would sow corn and expect to reap grapes. Then why do one sow discord and expect to have peace?

It has been this way from the beginning, that what we sow is what we reap.

Some preachers have manipulated this verse to fleece gullible believers of money however the verse is clear:

Let us look at the origin of that quote:

Galatians 6:7
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

The very next verse explains what the verse was talking about:

Galatians 6:8
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

See how clear the verse becomes:

and then:

Galatians 6:9&10
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all [men], especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Thus good gets good also the evil should also expect evil.

It takes faith to work in goodness: for it is the love of God and then man that provokes good works. This is the summary of the law and the prophets

Matthew 22:37-40
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

We must thus be careful what we sow, for since there is a time for sowing there is also a time for reaping!

May we always display the nature of our Heavenly Father, He is good, we also do good. For we will reap good also.

We must not get it twisted, we sow to the spirit, for the fruit of the spirit is goodness. We reap of the Spirit for the Spirit gives live. Help us Good Lord.

Thus we stay in prayer, in studying the Word and in worship for we know the fruit we need to bear. Halleluyah.

Glory to the Father.

He calls us blessed.

Love
@the watcher.
