A CLEAR DEMARCATION(Psalm 5)

Psalms 5:12
For you bless the godly, O lord; you surround them with your shield of love.

Psalms 5:5
Therefore, the proud may not stand in your presence, for you hate all who do evil.

When we read through the book of Psalms we see a clear cut between those who work in righteousness (the godly) and those who choose to walk in iniquity (the ungodly).

There has always been this demarcation, for Christ when teaching Nicodemus compared it to the contrast between light and darkness:

John 3:19
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Further more He explained:

John 3:20&21
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

John still declared:

1John 1:5
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

For God in the beginning needed to separate darkness from light:

Genesis 1:4
And God saw the light, that [it was] good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

A sign to let us know that God chooses light as good and darkness as evil. Thus without His presence darkness prevails.

Thus Christ brings light to us:

John 8:12
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Therefore if we are of light, our deeds must be of light!

WE MUST NOT GET IT TWISTED

Psalms 5:5
Therefore, the proud may not stand in your presence, for you hate all who do evil.

You cannot declare that you are light but your works are evil(darkness)

John 12:46
I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

2 Corinthians 4:6
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 6:14
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

For instance:
How can you be of light and be full of hate?

1John 2:9
He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.

Don't be deceived!

The demarcation is clear!

1Thessalonians 5:5
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Glory to the Heavenly Father, we would not be found in darkness. For He has brought us into His light.

We cannot be of light and also of darkness. We cannot serve the Heavenly Father and yet still serve another:

Psalms 5:2
Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, for I pray to no one but you.

It is either Him alone or not Him at all, for He shares His glory with no one. Selah

Father we give you all glory, honour and praise, with our heart, voice and our lifestyle. What you did for us through your Son, the Messiah we are forever grateful for. May we always walk in your light. Glory to your name.

He calls us blessed.

Love
@the watcher.
