WHAT WE SAY

James 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. Do you cause a lot of pain with your mouth, and with this current media era, do you cause pain with your write ups? Time to revisit your inside. Do you use curse words? Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. There is a trend all over the world where people have become accustomed to curse words and evil speakings. You could get so used to it that you do not know when you use them they just come out. We must remember that our words are the reflection of what we have in our inside: Luke 6:45  A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Our conscience must never be smeared with hot iron. We mus

ASKING FOR TOO MUCH

Hebrews 6:4-6 For it is impossible to bring back to repentance those who were once enlightened—those who have experienced the good things of heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the power of the age to come— and who then turn away from God. It is impossible to bring such people back to repentance; by rejecting the Son of God, they themselves are nailing him to the cross once again and holding him up to public shame. How many of us are cautioned against too much zeal about seeing God in the natural? Just like Moses was asking, "that I may behold your face". It is a sensation most of us believers have, to have that privilege of talking with God one on one. A direct interaction with the Heavenly Father not just Holy Spirit inspired but the Heavenly Father interacting with our natural. Yes it is so wonderful, so great, the question is "do we know what it means?", "do we know what it entails?" Peop

GLORY TO THE HEAVENLY FATHER

Psalm 66:2 Sing out the honor of His name; Make His praise glorious. As people come into this world and leave again and again, each comes with a story and yet leaves with another. In all, the most important part of man's existence is acknowledging the author of life Himself. The one who made all things and brings life to them. Isaiah 45:18 For thus says the LORD, Who created the heavens, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it, Who did not create it in vain, Who formed it to be inhabited: "I am the LORD, and there is no other. All the prophets of old echoed the power of God to a people who were sustained by Him yet they did not acknowledge Him. Acts 17:28 "for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, 'For we are also His offspring.' However when Christ was revealed the person of God was experienced among men. A show that God was not far away anymore, that His tabernacle has come

DON'T FORGET HIM

Psalms 63:6&7 When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches. Because You have been my help, Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. Each new day, week, month, year or seasons brings its own atmosphere. It could be for a rejoicing, a challenge or at first it could seem uncertain. The Psalm this morning talks of being so conscious of God's presence that it overshadows all. DO YOU REMEMBER HIM? Never forget Who He is What He has done What He can do What He will do For He remains the God Almighty. Instead of filling up ourselves with the burden, we fill ourselves with Him, then the burden is lifted from us. Remember what He said: Jeremiah 32:27  "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?" The burden cannot be bigger than this world, yet He has taken care of more than this world. Selah O how we praise you Heavenly Father, you are a great Lord. We fill ourselves with you, all

MERCY BECAUSE OF THE COVENANT

Genesis 39:21 But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. There is no way we pass through this life without facing challenges and difficulties. Even Christ echoed it. John 16:33 "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." Unless you have faced this situations it will be easy to remain theoretical about it. For it is easy to go comfort one facing an issue than to be comforted when one faces the situation. Truely some situations may even be so harsh that one would prefer to leave the world. However the Lord desires that we live out our time here on earth and to live it well. Glory to God that we are not left on our own. We are taken care of: Hebrews 4:15-16 This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let u

DON'T GIVE HIM ROOM

1Thessalonians 3:5 For this reason, when I could no longer endure it, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter had tempted you, and our labor might be in vain. Do we remember this conversation: Job 1:7,12 “Where have you come from?” the lord asked Satan.Satan answered the lord, “I have been patrolling the earth, watching everything that’s going on.” “All right, you may test him,” the lord said to Satan. “Do whatever you want with everything he possesses, but don’t harm him physically.” So Satan left the lord’s presence. We must not be ignorant of the  devices of the enemy. One thing is sure, the enemy is working, but whatever he is doing is not good. Therefore we must resist whatever comes from Him and put our full trust in God. James 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Stay in prayer, continue to meditate in the word, keep worshipping. For the Lord has given us victory. We are blessed. Love @the watcher.

ALL IS WELL, LET'S TRUST HIM

1Thessalonians 5:18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. The world we live in, is full of ups and downs. We have goals, dreams and responsibilities, sometimes it could seem so overwhelming. To focus so hard on some issues could bring us down and affect us negatively. What does scriptures say? 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. This we find difficult to do sometimes, we want to be part of the solution. It becomes an issue when we are not careful enough to listen to instructions. Our attitude should be that of thanksgiving, after we have cast our burden on Christ. In our patience we hear His instructions and see clearly to know what part to follow. For that which is most important for us here is life and good health, once He grants us these, the others He will yet do. Praise His Holy Name. Father we thank you for you will keep us in good health and grant us life, that your grace will be sufficient

Post Resurrection: My mind

Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. One thing the resurrection power gave to us, is the mind of Christ. Remember that corruption begins with the mind. That is how the serpent deceived Eve: 2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. Our mind must be filled with the knowledge of the truth of God's word. We must know, believe and accept who we have become in Him. We must not accept captivity again. Galatians 2:20  "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Our mind must be set on things above, on the Heavenly Father for we have been translated by the resurrection. Colossians 1:12-14 always thanking the Father. He has enabled you

POST RESURRECTION: My Body

Romans 8:11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. The power of the resurrection God's Holy Spirit dwells in you if you have the new birth. He quickens our mortal bodies and thus makes us live as we should. That is living to please the Heavenly Father. However we cannot do this without knowledge. 2 Peter 1:4 And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires. The difference is made by knowledge: 2 Peter 1:5 In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, This knowledge is the knowledge of God, the more you learn of God by His Spirit,

HE IS RISEN

John 11:25-26 Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?” Halleluyah, today we remember the glorious victory, Christ rose from the dead. He conquered, that all things will be under Him. Ephesians 4:10 He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.) Today we celebrate not a date but a person. Christ Jesus is the resurrection. Halleluyah A new script, we have life abundant for we know that we resurrected with Him. Oh what a victory. The curse of sin is broken. We have perfect liberty. Glory to God. Let praise fill your mouth today, share this message to all who have not heard and all who need to be reminded. We have victory. He made us blessed. Love @ the watcher

HE CONQUERED

Ephesians 4:8-9 That is why the Scriptures say, “When he ascended to the heights, he led a crowd of captives and gave gifts to his people.” Notice that it says “he ascended.” This clearly means that Christ also descended to our lowly world. So what happened when Christ died? 1 Peter 3:19-20 So he went and preached to the spirits in prison— those who disobeyed God long ago when God waited patiently while Noah was building his boat. Only eight people were saved from drowning in that terrible flood. How did He do this? He had to bind the strong man of the house. Mark 3:27 "No one can enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man, and then he will plunder his house. Selah For set captives free: It was a battle that made Him declare when He arose: Matthew 28:18  Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. We must never forget this victory, because it is ou

WHAT HE DID FOR US

Isaiah 53:4-5,7-12 Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. Unjustly condemned, he was led away. No one cared that he died without descendants, that his life was cut short in midstream. But he was struck down for the rebellion of my people. He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich man’s grave. But it was the lord’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the lord’s goo

NO PAIN, NO GAIN

Luke 24:25-27 Then Jesus said to them, “You foolish people! You find it so hard to believe all that the prophets wrote in the Scriptures. Wasn’t it clearly predicted that the Messiah would have to suffer all these things before entering his glory?” Then Jesus took them through the writings of Moses and all the prophets, explaining from all the Scriptures the things concerning himself. Things really got messed up at the fall of man, for what man did was to reject God. From that time what God warned them of, befall them, death! Thus for man to get fruit out of the earth He had to toil. For position of authority is lost in the place of disobedience, such that animals who were at our command became threat to us: Genesis 4:7 You will be accepted if you do what is right. But if you refuse to do what is right, then watch out! Sin is crouching at the door, eager to control you. But you must subdue it and be its master.” 1Samuel 13:14 "But now your kingdom shall not continue.

WE EXPECT THE RETURN OF CHRIST

Philippians 3:20-21 But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control. We have not forgotten where we are headed, what we have become and to whom we belong. Our life does not end here. For though we do not see Him now, we know that we will see Him and also be with Him. Halleluyah So if we carry this truth in our heart we should be encouraged to live the type of life He wants us to live. Not in filth or carelessness but in the power of His Spirit. That when He returns we will receive His rewards. Some may say: "Is there anything to be worried about, no one can take our crown, it is already guaranteed?". The scriptures implies otherwise: Revelation 3:11  "Behold, I come quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take yo

LIVE LIKE YOUR FATHER

Titus 1:16  They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work. What we profess, we must prove for we cannot say we know God then work in iniquity. 1John 3:3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. For we must remember that Christ said: Matthew 7:20&21  "Therefore by their fruits you will know them.  "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. We must never be in doubt of the nature of our Heavenly Father. James 1:17  Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. We remember His great goodness this season, the offer of Himself to us. That is, His Son, His very fullness, He allowed Him go through death and pain to bring us back to Himself. Oh what awesome

YOU KNOW WHY YOU BELIEVE

1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; Really believe is a choice, that is, we could choose to believe or choose not to. Many people follow one religion or the other because they were born into it. However there comes the time in adulthood when one must "answer their name". What and Why do you believe? Some are privileged to be able to see through the options offered in the world and then decide to pick one to follow. Some could even conclude that they would follow none. Some could also conclude that their is no God! Whatever it is, one truth remains. "You could always choose your actions or take your decisions, but remember YOU DO NOT CONTROL THE CONSEQUENCES! Psalm 50:22  "Now consider this, you who forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, And there be none to deliver: So we share the truth with all. John 3:16-1

WITH THE BRETHREN

Philippians 1:27 Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and one purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News. The revelation of the Gospel of Christ, that is, what He has done that all men may be reconciled to God, is the most important assignment Christ left with us when He left the earth. We must bear this message in our lifestyle, evangelism and in good works. Mark 16:15  And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Matthew 5:16  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. For this purpose, as Paul explained, we conduct ourselves properly, as citizens of heaven which we ought to be, that together we fulfil this purpose. Thus we must remi

PRAISE HIM TODAY

Psalms 34:3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. Above everything we put our mind on concerning our life here on earth, we must be grateful for the the grace to be alive. For it is when we have life that any other thing matters. Thus the Psalmist says: Psalm 150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. Yes, for truly, that which you worry about only matters because you still have breath in you. Yes, it is human to want to worry. However we live by the spirit and not the flesh! Philippians 4:6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Turn your worries into prayer, praise and meditation of the word. The Heavenly Father truly knows our heart, He will surely step in. Let us give Him praise. Encourage someone today. Glory to the Father. He calls us blessed. Love @the watcher

OUR OVERALL MASTER

Colossians 3:24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. Surely there is a limit on what we can choose. Yes there are things that are not completely in our control, we are brought into them. For instance, we did not choose who our parents, siblings or children would be! The same way there is a limit to our choice of who we work under or serve. For instance Joseph could not decide Potiphar or his wife's character. He just had to serve them. Knowing this, what do we do? Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; This is why Joseph said: Genesis 39:9  [There is] none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou [art] his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? Joseph knew who he served! Not Potiphar, but God the Almighty. We see that later on, Potiphar and his wife had to answer t

GIVING THANKS, IN PATIENCE

Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; We should not allow the things that are still requests to us, blind us from thanksgiving. For what God has done for us far outweigh anything that could ever be our request. Most times we feel, "oh this is so important, so urgent, a necessity". However, He who knows all sees deeper and further than we can. That is why scriptures says that patience is a virtue for anyone who will follow Christ. Luke 21:19  In your patience possess ye your souls. James 1:4 But let patience have [her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Thus we can not be led by His Spirit without patience. Today let us give thanks as we remind ourselves of how good our God is to us. Glory to His name. Romans 15:5-6 May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Chr

MORE THAN THIS

John 21:3,15 Simon Peter said, “I’m going fishing.”“We’ll come, too,” they all said. So they went out in the boat, but they caught nothing all night. After breakfast Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”“Yes, Lord,” Peter replied, “you know I love you.”“Then feed my lambs,” Jesus told him. It is natural for every human to have something they are passionate about, some activity, job, sport, hubby or career they feel they cannot do without. (What is yours?) However, we must never sacrifice our assignment to satisfy it. It is worse still if we give room for bad habits or even addictions. If you are a believer the time comes when you have to decide to choose. Which takes priority? God's mission for your life or that which will gratify your feeling. Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with

DEEP ROOTS 1

Colossians 2:7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. The strength of a tree lies on how deep and strong the roots are. The foundation tells if the house will stand or fall. We as believers have our foundation in Christ Jesus. And what a strong rock He is. Never shaken, always rigid, stronger than any other. For there is no other. Selah 1 Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner [stone]; Thus when the foundation is right every other part will stand. So what do we do? Colossians 2:7  Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Yes, knowing that we should reject anything that contradicts

WHAT CHRIST DID

Colossians 1:22 Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. How great a redemption, paid with so great a price. That we who were born in sin and rejected would now be presented to the Heavenly Father as HOLY, BLAMELESS and WITHOUT FAULT! That is what Yeshua, Jesus the Christ did for us. Halleluyah So when God looks at us He doesn't see our shortcomings or faults but He sees the perfect Christ. Glory. Can this be everyone's portion? Yes,  Jew or Gentile, no matter who we are. This grace is given to all who believe! Colossians 1:21 This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions. Titus 2:11  For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them

THIS JESUS

Who is this Jesus? Colossians 1:15-20 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything. For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled  everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross. Yes it got to the time during Christ's earthly sojourn, when He had to ask his disciples who people say He was. He then finally asked who the d

OUR PRIORITY

Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Our live here on earth ought to carry this same testimony. That we please the Lord in all our doing. This we do by being fruitful in all good works and increasing in the knowledge of God. This is why we continue in prayer for ourselves and for the brethren. Colossians 1:9 So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Instead of these, many have made other desires priority. When we look at the christians in the early church, their priority was to pray for boldness to preach the gospel and grace to fulfil the purpose. The answer followed by the increase in the power of the Holy Spirit. Acts 4:29-31 And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word.

STILL ON GIVING

Luke 12:48 But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required. If we know what our request entails, most of us would modify our desires and request.  We must not forget that what we possess, we are accountable for. The more we have, the more we account for.  In the parable of Lazarus and the rich man. Lazarus had so little, not just about money he could not even boast of health. The rich man had everything working for him. So the judgment was expected, you cannot account for what you did not handle.  So on giving, who and who are we to give to.  *The Heavenly Father.  First we have an obligation to the one who gave to us in the first place: Luke 12:19-21 And I’ll sit back and say to myself, “My friend, you have enough stored away for years to come. Now take it easy! Eat, drin

WHEN GIVING IS A BLESSING

2 Corinthians 8:3 For I can testify that they gave not only what they could afford, but far more. And they did it of their own free will. It is the nature of the believer to give for we follow after the nature of Yeshua, Jesus the Christ. Not by compulsion, but a duty and out of love: 2 Corinthians 8:3,9 For I can testify that they gave not only what they could afford, but far more. And they did it of their own free will. You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich. Can our giving ever get to this stage? To give all. That is why we call our Heavenly Father the El Shaddai! The Almighty, that He can keep pouring or showering on us and yet will never be exhausted. So we cannot give all, for we give from what we have. "However we give all to God, He entrusts us with what we have, for what do we have that we have not received?" Selah So set yourself fre

TRUE CONTENTMENT (BE A GIVER)

1 Timothy 6:6 Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth. Not all will be wealthy in the land, some would surely have needs, thus when the law was given through Moses these ones were catered for. In the church, some special set of people had to be catered for: Acts of the Apostles 6:1-2 But as the believers rapidly multiplied, there were rumblings of discontent. The Greek-speaking believers complained about the Hebrew-speaking believers, saying that their widows were being discriminated against in the daily distribution of food. So the Twelve called a meeting of all the believers. They said, “We apostles should spend our time teaching the word of God, not running a food program. These were people with genuine needs, who needed to be catered for. Contentment would make you give as a believer, for the excess you have is entrusted to you to provide for someone else. This is true christian love. The lazy, or financially foolish, are not the needy. Proverbs

AS YOU LAY YOUR BED

Galatians 6:7 Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. While others slept, they kept watch; while others had fun, they invested the time in reading, studying, meditating; while others stayed idle, they practiced again and again. Then others wondered why they got there, why they are so skilled, so blessed, so favoured. Proverbs 22:29 Do you see any truly competent workers? They will serve kings rather than working for ordinary people. Do we want to be spiritual giants, do we want to be spiritually mature, enjoying the full glory of what Christ has done for us, then we must wake up from our spiritual sleep. Don't get sucked in with the philosophies and argument. Don't be trapped in religion. What exactly do you have to loose? !!! For it is what you sow, you reap! Galatians 6:7-8  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the

DECIDE TO ACT (a reminder)

I have come to understand that before we do anything, there is that brief moment when we have to decide. It could be in seconds or we may have longer moments to think about it, no matter the length, every action is premeditated. Sometimes we do not allow that brief moment, ( I am guilty of this) this may cause us to err, and if we are God's we feel so bad about it. Therefore we must decide, to take the right actions. Here the Holy Spirit helps us, if only we are patient to allow Him have His way. We need to feed ourselves with the word more than all other things that want to occupy our heart or mind. Psalms 119:11 Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You. It is what every believer practices and develops, so that we do not err. James 1:16 Do not err, my beloved brethren. We need to be ready, starting everyday with the Lord, then continuing therein in Him. I see patience working in us, wisdom and excellence displayed in all we do. We
