WHAT CHRIST DID

Colossians 1:22
Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.

How great a redemption, paid with so great a price. That we who were born in sin and rejected would now be presented to the Heavenly Father as HOLY, BLAMELESS and WITHOUT FAULT!

That is what Yeshua, Jesus the Christ did for us. Halleluyah

So when God looks at us He doesn't see our shortcomings or faults but He sees the perfect Christ. Glory.

Can this be everyone's portion? Yes,  Jew or Gentile, no matter who we are. This grace is given to all who believe!

Colossians 1:21
This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions.

Titus 2:11
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:

Yes Christ finished this great work for us. Halleluyah.

Now do we have a part to play, for the finished work?  NO. "It is finished".

However we must believe, abide and live it.

Colossians 1:23
But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. The Good News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed as God’s servant to proclaim it.

John 15:5-8,10
“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.
Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned.
But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!
When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.
When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.

Titus 2:12-13
And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God,
while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.

Thus we make a mockery of what Christ has done if we do not abide in Him, if we do not walk in obedience. We must let go of the former, "the world" and work in the Spirit.

God help us.

Therefore Brethren, let us stay spiritually fit. In:

*prayer
*worship
*study of the word
*fastings
*evangelism
*meditation etc.

Remembering that we are no longer condemned, the enemy cannot deceive us anymore, we are no longer debtors. The Messiah has paid our price.

May the fullness of what Christ has done for us, fill us, we will not fail Him. We will remain victorious. Halleluyah.

All glory to the Heavenly Father.

He calls us blessed.

Love
@the watcher.
