THIS JESUS
Who is this Jesus?
Colossians 1:15-20
Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.
He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—
such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body.
He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything.
For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself.
He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.
Yes it got to the time during Christ's earthly sojourn, when He had to ask his disciples who people say He was. He then finally asked who the disciples thought He was. The response made Jesus reply that the revelation of He the Son could only be revealed by the Father.
Matthew 16:13-17
When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”
“Well,” they replied, “some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.”
Then he asked them, “But who do you say I am?”
Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
Jesus replied, “You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being.
We recall that Jesus said that only He reveals the Heavenly Father!
John 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared [him].
Do we see the vice-versa?
Luke 10:22
All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and [he] to whom the Son will reveal [him].
So the power of the YAHW the Elshadai is revealed in the Son, Yeshua, Jesus the Christ.
I cannot know God in the body except through Christ.
Understand the power in the Son, the very God. Enjoy the reunion with God through His sacrifice.
All hail the name of Jesus, for at His name every knee, should bow. Glory to God.
