WHEN GIVING IS A BLESSING

2 Corinthians 8:3
For I can testify that they gave not only what they could afford, but far more. And they did it of their own free will.

It is the nature of the believer to give for we follow after the nature of Yeshua, Jesus the Christ.

Not by compulsion, but a duty and out of love:

2 Corinthians 8:3,9
For I can testify that they gave not only what they could afford, but far more. And they did it of their own free will.
You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich.

Can our giving ever get to this stage? To give all.

That is why we call our Heavenly Father the El Shaddai! The Almighty, that He can keep pouring or showering on us and yet will never be exhausted.

So we cannot give all, for we give from what we have.

"However we give all to God, He entrusts us with what we have, for what do we have that we have not received?" Selah

So set yourself free, do not let your giving overwhelm you by giving or not giving, let love be the driving force by the discernment of the Spirit.

We are not to make it a show or something to boast about, for then we have no reward from the Heavenly Father.

Matthew 6:1-4
“Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven.
When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get.
But when you give to someone in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.
Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.

Let it be of love and by the discerning of the Spirit.

The Heavenly Father should look on you and say, yes I have someone to send in this place and that place to shine my light.

Just as Jesus the Messiah said:

Acts 20:35
And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

We will never lack for we shall be a source of supply. Glory to God.

May we give willingly, may we never have to result to compulsion. May we instead be led by God's Spirit to give by discernment. We will never leave our assigned hanging!

We are blessed.

Love
