GLORY TO THE HEAVENLY FATHER
Psalm 66:2
Sing out the honor of His name; Make His praise glorious.
As people come into this world and leave again and again, each comes with a story and yet leaves with another. In all, the most important part of man's existence is acknowledging the author of life Himself. The one who made all things and brings life to them.
Isaiah 45:18
For thus says the LORD, Who created the heavens, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it, Who did not create it in vain, Who formed it to be inhabited: "I am the LORD, and there is no other.
All the prophets of old echoed the power of God to a people who were sustained by Him yet they did not acknowledge Him.
Acts 17:28
"for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, 'For we are also His offspring.'
However when Christ was revealed the person of God was experienced among men. A show that God was not far away anymore, that His tabernacle has come to be with man. His Spirit is revealed afresh. Many saw the display of His power and wanted to call men God. In wisdom they refused and pointed them to the right direction.
Acts 10:26
But Peter lifted him up, saying, "Stand up; I myself am also a man."
Today God is still revealed through man to man. Yes many false ones have gone out, however though the wheat and the weed are allowed to grow together, the weeds will eventually be cut down.
As we join to worship Him today, let our voices be heard among those who lift up the name of the Heavenly Father who brought us back again to Himself in Christ Jesus. Glory to God.
