WHAT HE DID FOR US
Isaiah 53:4-5,7-12
Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down.
And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins.
He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.
He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word.
He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. Unjustly condemned, he was led away.
No one cared that he died without descendants, that his life was cut short in midstream.
But he was struck down for the rebellion of my people. He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone.
But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich man’s grave.
But it was the lord’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief.
Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants.
He will enjoy a long life, and the lord’s good plan will prosper in his hands.
When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied.
And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins. I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier, because he exposed himself to death.
He was counted among the rebels. He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.
This prophesy was in scriptures while they did all this to the Messiah. How ignorant they were.
Yes the price had to be paid, to restore what we lost at the beginning. Oh woe unto those who call themselves the Messiah, occupying authorities, seats in high places and yet have not gone through one pinch of what the Messiah suffered. Woe to false teachers and leaders. Their condemnation is great. For they sit in the place of knowledge and yet know nothing. The take up no cross. Woe to those who deceive people for gain all in the name of the Lord. Woe to those who run after fame, popularity and earthly goodies using the name of the Lord. Oh that was not what He paid the price for!
As we remember this sacrifice today we ought to be filled with thanks and praise as we appreciate such a sacrifice for all mankind. Oh how can we reject such love. What will we say when we face Him!
The enemies never understood the purpose of God for though it was written they did not understand:
1 Corinthians 2:8
which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Yes they did not understand:
1 Corinthians 2:8-9
But the rulers of this world have not understood it; if they had, they would not have crucified our glorious Lord.
That is what the Scriptures mean when they say,
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined
what God has prepared for those who love him.”
So let us make it known, in print, in speech, in works, the glorious love of God. Spread this joy as far as you can go!
No matter how they try to suppress, philosophise or corrupt this gospel, they will fail.
Christ died for us that we may be redeemed to the Father. Let the lost return home. Turn back to God brother, turn back to God sister. For Christ only have revealed Him.
A full package of deliverance, healing, prosperity, eternal life and the Holy Spirit. Halleluyah.
Luke 4:18-19
“The Spirit of the lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the lord’s favor has come.”
Yes we are grateful. Glory to God.
Give Him praise, worship, exalt Him. For so great a sacrifice. Oh we bless your name Yeshua, Jesus the Christ our great Messiah. Halleluyah. Glory to God.
This is why we are blessed.
