Psalms 24:1 The earth is the Lord's, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein. He who knows all and has all things in His control. We have our desires, plans, goals and expectations. We bring them to God in prayer. Sometimes things don't happen the same way we expect it to, we then forget all and focus on the exact thing we desired. When God looks at it, He looks far beyond our limited view, He has in mind the future and the details we are not previleged to have. Proverbs 19:20 Listen to counsel and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter days. One of the greatest attributes of leaders is humility and it always comes with the patience to listen. No matter how much we know and no matter how high the experience there is an advantage in choosing to listen. Ofcourse what we hear may not be of  importance all the time,  yet being able to listen could save us a lot of headaches and stress. There is power released to the believer over the enemies, remember we have been raised in Christ and sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus: Thus the same way Eve had power over the serpent to command it to be quiet, we also have authority to command the enemies to be quiet over any area of our lives. She allowed it to talk, however we give no room for the enemy.

2 Corinthians 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. This is why God allows us go through these troubles, we experience His comfort, then inturn we are able to comfort others. The desire of God for us is that we should be in good health. The earth consist of things which could make our natural body weak and fall to sickness. Some ailments were from birth, some developed from activities done after birth, some as a result of bad life style, some as a result of eating the wrong things and recently from the activities of man in improving technologies, wars and also industrialisation. From the beginning of time God had been in the business of healing. The fall of man as recorded in Genesis 3 made man liable to sicknesses and diseases. But God had always shown His power to heal. His mercy was reveled from His children of Isreal and all who still came from the outside received their healing, when they stirred up their faith and came to God. In the garden of Eden he lied to man,  he said,   "you will not die. . ." but of course man died,  he grew old and died physically but most importantly he began to get separated from God. 1Corinthians 10:14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. It is fear that would lead anyone to pursue worship of a deity symbolized by human hands. It is easy to say for those of us who were born into christian homes. It may not be that simple for those who were born into families where idol/graven image worship was acceptable. In Isaiah 43, God shows how stupid it is to worship graven images: Isaiah 44:9-20 How foolish are those who manufacture idols. These prized objects are really worthless. The people who worship idols don’t know this, so they are all put to shame. Who but a fool would make his own god— an idol that cannot help him one bit? All who worship idols will be disgraced along with all these craftsmen—mere humans— who claim they can make a god. They may all stand together,     but they will stand in terror and shame. The blacksmith stands at his forge to make a sharp tool, pounding and shaping it with all his might. His work makes him hungry and weak.

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? What ensued this statement from Bro. Paul? People do not understand what grace means. People merely define grace as unmerited favour, however the question is, for what? Let us look at how our Messiah, Jesus the Christ described God's expectation from us. Ecclesiastes 7:8(NLT) Finishing is better than starting.     Patience is better than pride. Planet earth keeps moving, thus everything in it is moving - "time". This is why at the beginning of a thing we could be so excited. However it will always come to an end. How long does our excitement last? The wisdom in all is that when the time for that season elapses, we ought to have become better and moved to a better place! For we ought to keep moving forward. Could we illustrate with our education system: We were excited when we began our primary education, however in five to six years we have to move away from that phase, we now begin to talk of our secondary education. This initiates a new excitement. In another six years this phase is also over. We move to another phase, a four to seven years in a higher institution, always starting with a period of excitement, then we see the work to be done in that phase.
