GOD REACHING OUT TO THE SINNER
Isaiah 12:1
And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
The awesome hymn written by a lawyer, William Cowper in 1768, comes to mind.
1 Hark, my soul, it is the Lord;
'tis thy Saviour, hear his word;
Jesus speaks, and speaks to thee,
'Say, poor sinner, lov'st thou me?
2 'I delivered thee when bound,
and, when wounded, healed thy wound;
sought thee wandering, set thee right,
turned thy darkness into light.
It is the story of God reaching out to sinners by releasing His Word to become flesh that flesh can relate with Him and return to Him.
Yes man was rejected by God because of sin, yet it was not man that God rejected but the sin in Him. So the sin had to be removed that we may return to Him.
Psalm 32:2
Blessed [is] the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit [there is] no guile.
God cleans us from sin by giving us a new birth, which we receive by faith, then we begin to live by His Spirit subduing the flesh. Halleluyah.
So why should anyone go search for iniquity. How can one be brought to light and yet decide they would prefer to remain in darkness. Why should grace be released and yet we want to be held bound by religious practices and slavery of the law. ". . . for by strength shall no man prevail"
John 3:19
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
There is no excuse, everyone is given this opportunity. This is why the second coming is delayed for all flesh must hear His voice.
Titus 2:11-14
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
We must tell the whole world. Using any medium and all opportunity. It is the most important message. For far above all earthly wealth, conquest or achievement is that, no soul is lost after here.
Matthew 16:26
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Oh what great love, upon the billions that have come and gone, no one is less important to Him.
(verse 4) 'Mine is an unchanging love,
higher than the heights above,
deeper than the depths beneath,
free and faithful, strong as death.

Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this [is] known in all the earth.
God has reached out to man it is now for man to believe, receive and live the new life we have in the Messiah, Jesus the Christ.
Glory to Father. His love will never be taken for granted.
He calls us blessed.
