STAY ON COURSE
Proverbs 4:23
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it [are] the issues of life.
One limitation of (we) humans, is our tendency to forget. This is why the Lord instructed Joshua:
Joshua 1:8
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Jesus said:
Matthew 11:29
Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Paul said by the Spirit:
Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
2Timothy 3:16-17
All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
All parts of the bible teaches us not to forget. . .
For we need to stay on course.
There is a flight plan for the believer, for though the world may not understand us, God does. His word and His Spirit remains our guide, thus we must stay on course.
The winds may blow this way or that, however looking at our flight plan we steer our flight back to the right direction.
Sometimes we worry about the waves, that is where we miss it, let us learn from Jesus:
Mark 4:39
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Christ looked beyond the waves to that which provoked the waves "the wind" then there was calm.
We must look beyond the people, that immediate difficulty and rebuke the spirit that controls them.
Sometimes our negative attitude and non forsaking habits are the winds, we must cast them out. Let it go, for total victory.
We must stay on course!
Do you know the flight plan? Are you guided by the plan?
Stay in the word, stay in prayer, live by the Spirit.
No wind is strong enough to take you off course, for the power of the Spirit of God in you is greater than all external forces. Yes greater than the wind. Halleluyah
Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
WE MUST REMAIN ON COURSE.
Help us Good Lord.
He calls us blessed.
