OUR PRAISE

Exodus 15:11
"Who is like You, O LORD, among the gods? who is like You, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

There is always a reason to give God praise, for He holds all things together. He has the final say. This is why David sang:

Psalm 150:6
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!

Yes that we are alive, is a reason to give thanks.

One thing that looks common for one, is a testimony for another. For we are human and our needs differ.

One thing is certain, there are three major things we desire after life: good health, peace and joy. These Christ has promised us that we have through His Spirit.

John 14:27
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Romans 15:13
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Thus let us not allow mundane things take away that which the Spirit refreshes us with daily. Let us begin each day with praise to God.

Hebrews 13:15
Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

And if anything arises that wants to take away our joy or bring us down, we remember who we are, and personalize this truth:

1Peter 2:9
But you(we) are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you(we) may proclaim the praises of Him who called you(us) out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Glory to God, nothing will steal our praise. Halleluyah.

He calls us blessed.
