In life we have times of eclipse it is expected, though sometimes it comes and our reaction escalates it beyond its real magnitude. Here, Jesus was talking to the Jews who worshipped God for personal gain, those of them who were hypocrites. Funny enough, the devil or satan lives here on earth. Proverbs 15:23  A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, and a word spoken in due season, how good it is! Everyone has a circle of influence, people who are affected by what you say or do. It could be large or small no matter the size it remains our sphere of influence and God expects us to affect the circle positively. You are there to influence positively. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Our faith in God is definitely not limited by our feelings or our emotions. It is not how we feel, whether good, bad or uncertain. NO! That is of the flesh. We cannot trust our feelings and emotions, they fluctuate day after day. They are a function of what we see, hear, or presume. All these are of the flesh not the Spirit. Explaining God intellectually is actuality a futility. He is Spirit and can not be limited by the five senses. That's why the law was actually a bondage. As we awake to a new week, let us remember: 1Thessalonians 5:18 "in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call.
