OUR HOPE

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves.

Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever.

We will live forever, yes, for we are assured that where our Lord is, there we will be also.

John 14:2-3

There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?

When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.

For the whole work of Christ on earth and in heaven was for us. His death, resurrection and ascension sealed our return to the Father, lifting us from the bondage of sin, death and slavery to liberty, royalty and glory. Halleluyah.

This is why religion is man-made and a form of slavery, for what Christ has completed it desires that you work for - a complete waste of time.

Ephesians 2:6-10

For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.

So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.

Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

So you don't work for your salvation, you walk in your salvation. Halleluyah

When you get this truth, that is actually when you begin to live. (Open our eyes Lord).

Let me say this (it doesn't matter how you feel about it). Not all will be saved, not all will have that eternal life. Listen, one mistake humans make is allowing themselves to feel so important, or think that they cannot be destroyed or condemned, God is not wicked . . . etc.

Get this right, you are just a number out of inumerable humans, yes God's love is for all but NO-ONE is indispensible: He is the creator you are the created. Selah

Exodus 32:9-10

Then the Lord said, “I have seen how stubborn and rebellious these people are.

Now leave me alone so my fierce anger can blaze against them, and I will destroy them. Then I will make you, Moses, into a great nation.”

No one is irreplaceable, the same way you were formed many were formed also. This is why Jesus warned:

John 15:2,6

He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.

Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned.

So we must make sure that this great hope does not elude us. This is why Jesus asked:

Mark 8:36-37

And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?

Is anything worth more than your soul?

No, we are trading our salvation with nothing, we are in a win-win situation. We win here on earth and again eternal victory in eternity. Glory to God.

Don't get wearied, keep on the journey, victory is assured. Our hope is sure.

Glory to God.

He calls us blessed.

Love
