STILL ON HIS GRACE

2 Thessalonians 1:11-12

So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.

Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live, and you will be honored along with him. This is all made possible because of the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.

We got saved by His grace we thus continue to live by His grace. Let us understand that we are not trying to search for Him, we are not trying to get salvation, NO. We are saved, we have found Him, just like being born, however we need to grow, we need to mature and we need to work. Selah

John 3:3

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

You cannot even begin except you receive the new birth, without salvation you are not even seeing the kingdom. This is why religion is man-made, it keeps you busy searching for the kingdom and salvation, being thrown here and there by philosophies, when it has already been settled.

For Christ is the "it is finished", He settled it.

John 3:13, 15&16

And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, [even] the Son of man which is in heaven.

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Religion gets its strength from keeping you in a perpetual state of fear thus you end up living all your life trying to live up to human standards and laws, but that which the Lord deals with, your heart and soul remains in a state of comatose.

John 3:5

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

The kingdom of God is both in heaven and on Earth, He gives you the right and the citizenship, however His requirement is faith:

John 1:12-13

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:

Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

So the question then is, now that I am born again, what next?

The answer is - live!

We live by the same grace that we were saved:

John 15:3-4

Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

You begin with Him, you also continue with Him.

Romans 12:1-2

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

We are not removed from this world, we yet live here, work and make impact, yet we know of whom we are and we understand that it is the way of life in our kingdom we live.

John 17:9-10, 15-17

I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Glory to God.

 2 Thessalonians 1:3

Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing.

Thus His grace which has saved us still keeps us the Spirit which breeds our new birth also dwells in us, thus we are able to live the life pleasing the Lord and are able to bear fruit, for by His Spirit we abide in Him.

Thus persecution is not strong enough to stop us or bring us down no, we go on. For those that resist the truth are kept for condemnation same with all who persecute believers:

2 Thessalonians 1:7-9

And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He will come with his mighty angels,

in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don’t know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus.

They will be punished with eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from his glorious power.

But for us who believe everlasting joy:

2 Thessalonians 1:10

When he comes on that day, he will receive glory from his holy people—praise from all who believe. And this includes you, for you believed what we told you about him.

Glory to God.

Rejoice in your faith and live the resurrected life.

He calls us blessed.

Love

@the watcher.
