OUR TYPE OF LOVE

1 Thessalonians 4:1-5

Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God, as we have taught you. You live this way already, and we encourage you to do so even more.

For you remember what we taught you by the authority of the Lord Jesus.

God’s will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin.

Then each of you will control his own body and live in holiness and honor—

not in lustful passion like the pagans who do not know God and his ways.

HELP US GOOD LORD!

For our type of love is the Agape, the love of God. 

A lot of things do cross our mind, remember that there are many darts of the enemy, spittle of the serpent and manipulations from the prince of the power of the air, but we should:

Proverbs 4:23

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.

Not all thoughts should be given room, NO. For the enemy suggests, but you resist, then he flees.

James 4:7

So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

For the children of God humble themselves before God, submitting to His will and way, thus they resist whatever it is the enemy brings and thus chase him away.

For God's type of love is neither selfish or destructive, no it is sacrificial. You cannot say you love God and you hate your brethren no, the love of God causes you to love His children.

Our love for God is evident in our obedience:

1 John 5:3-5

Loving God means keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome.

For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.

And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

That is why you cannot see a believer who is guilty of breaking the law, for He operates in a higher dimension. None born of God is under the bondage of sin for Christ has set us free. Halleluyah.

1Thessalonians 4:7-8 

For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

So we despise God if we walk in sin, for He has given us His Holy Spirit. We will not err. Help us Good Lord.

So as believers we walk in love for that is our nature gotten from our Father - who is Love.

Thus we are not pests or a burden to anyone but:

1 Thessalonians 4:11-12

Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before.

Then people who are not believers will respect the way you live, and you will not need to depend on others.

For no child of God is a beggar.

We work, we mind our business and the unbelievers learn from us. For we show good example.

Let us live and teach these truths. We are of love.
