IT IS BY FAITH

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.


Our faith in God is definitely not limited by our feelings or our emotions. It is not how we feel, whether good, bad or uncertain. NO! That is of the flesh.


We cannot trust our feelings and emotions, they fluctuate day after day. They are a function of what we see, hear, or presume. All these are of the flesh not the Spirit.


Explaining God intellectually is actuality a futility. He is Spirit and can not be limited by the five senses. That's why the law was actually a bondage.


It is not wisdom trying to live to please a Spirit based on our senses. It has to be by faith. For in the first place:-


Salvation itself is a product of faith.


Romans 10:10

 For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.


It could never be by works, your faith will produce good works. Because anything done out of faith is sin.


Please let us get this; acceptable works is that which is a product of faith. Listen, you believe in God and you act accordingly to that believe, that is good work. So it is not just working to keep laws but an action birthed in love, so in faithfulness you act. Thus when the Lord looks in your heart He sees faith and love. This was what the Lord looked for in men, from Abel through to Abraham, Daniel and others of faith who are examples to us in scriptures.


Romans 14:23

 But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin.


Mark 2:5

 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven you."


Therefore we begin by faith, live by faith and then leave by faith.


Faith will make us:


* trust God for His promises;


* understand that God finished His work through His Son Jesus Christ and then came to dwell in us by His Holy Spirit;


* stay away from sin because we believe we have been delivered from its power;


* show love to others cause we believe God is love;


* pray ceaselessly knowing that we have a Father who always listens and talks with us;


* study the word of God for in them lies God's promises and direction;


* live by the Spirit who dwells in us(if we are born again);


* tell others about God's love in giving His Son Jesus the Christ that they may enjoy sonship and escape hell;


* Worship God continiously knowing that He deserves all the Glory;


* Show love to others because we know God is love.


FOR WITHOUT FAITH WE CANNOT PLEASE GOD!


Thus, you can stop struggling and live, because you have released yourself to Him in faith. That is why Jesus asked what we have been able to achieve with our worry. Really nothing, so why worry when you can believe and receive. Help us Lord.


May nothing shake our faith.


I see our faith grow day by day.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out.
