INSTRUCTIONS

Exodus 10:1 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Return to Pharaoh and make your demands again. I have made him and his officials stubborn so I can display my miraculous signs among them. The owner of glory is the Heavenly Father, no matter what happens He takes the glory for He is God and there is none besides Him. Pharaoh had played the stubborn one, he had kept ignoring the warning of the Lord to let the children of Israel go, now he was about to be hit by that which will bring crying and wailing all over Egypt. Exodus 11:5-6 All the firstborn sons will die in every family in Egypt, from the oldest son of Pharaoh, who sits on his throne, to the oldest son of his lowliest servant girl who grinds the flour. Even the firstborn of all the livestock will die. Then a loud wail will rise throughout the land of Egypt, a wail like no one has heard before or will ever hear again. Yes the Lord hardened his heart, however he was stubborn at the beginning. The summary is that the Lord had to

THE POWER OF GOD

Exodus 10:2 I’ve also done it so you can tell your children and grandchildren about how I made a mockery of the Egyptians and about the signs I displayed among them—and so you will know that I am the Lord.” People talk of the enemy's power, they fear what the enemy can do. This is trivial when you look at the power of God, you become dumbfounded! Have you read with me Exodus chapters eight(8) to ten(10). Look through the plagues and imagine what it will look like to experience it today: Exodus 10:21-22 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Lift your hand toward heaven, and the land of Egypt will be covered with a darkness so thick you can feel it.” So Moses lifted his hand to the sky, and a deep darkness covered the entire land of Egypt for three days. * darkness so thick that you can feel it! * The Heavenly Father's power is unequal and cannot be compared to any other, no power comes near Him. This is why Jesus said: Matthew 10:28 “Don’t be afraid of those who want to

HE SAVES HIS OWN

Exodus 9:5-7 The Lord has already set the time for the plague to begin. He has declared that he will strike the land tomorrow. And the Lord did just as he had said. The next morning all the livestock of the Egyptians died, but the Israelites didn’t lose a single animal. Pharaoh sent his officials to investigate, and they discovered that the Israelites had not lost a single animal! But even so, Pharaoh’s heart remained stubborn, and he still refused to let the people go. Pharaoh may have thought that the pestilence was common to all of them in Egypt, however, from the fourth plague God's people were exempted from experiencing it. The Heavenly Father's power and authority is unlimited. The preservation of His own in the midst of plagues, troubles or disasters is testified through scriptures and is yet evident today. The Lord can preserve His own, no matter the source of the troubles: Psalms 91:4-8 He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wing

BATTLING WITH GOD

Exodus 8:19 Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This [is] the finger of God: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said. When we look at the reasons why people take lightly God's power and authority even on earth, they are not far fetched: Exodus 7:20-22 So Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord commanded them. As Pharaoh and all of his officials watched, Aaron raised his staff and struck the water of the Nile. Suddenly, the whole river turned to blood! The fish in the river died, and the water became so foul that the Egyptians couldn’t drink it. There was blood everywhere throughout the land of Egypt. But again the magicians of Egypt used their magic, and they, too, turned water into blood. So Pharaoh’s heart remained hard. He refused to listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the Lord had predicted. Some, especially those in high leadership positions have tasted mundane powers and forces. Some have even consulted them while try

THAT WHICH BRINGS GREAT MEN DOWN - PRIDE

Exodus 7:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. By now we know that the most dangerous character that could destroy anyone is PRIDE. This was what caused the enemy to lose his position and make "them" accursed. It is still his selling point when he tempts, all in an attempt to destroy man. Genesis 3:6 The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too. Matthew 4:10 “Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’” It is as if the enemy is trying to prove to the Heavenly Father that everyone is like him! Isaiah 14:12-14 “How you are fallen from heaven, O shining star, son of the morning! You have been thrown down t

WHEN YOU FORCE THE HAND OF THE LORD

Exodus 6:1 Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land. Time and again, we see men trying to push the hand of the Lord. For when you live as if there is no God, you will indeed be forced to shout, Oh God! For the Heavenly Father is patient, however this should not be taken for granted: Romans 2:4-5 Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin? But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. There is a later day judgment at the end of all things, yet still there is a judgment of certain times. When the Heavenly Father shows the tyrants and evil men who is Boss. Phar

WHO IS REALLY IN CHARGE?

Exodus 5:2 And Pharaoh said, Who [is] the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go. When people find themselves in power and then begin to oppress those under them. They forget that there is a true leader in charge of things. However man seems not to learn except they face wrath. Ephesians 6:9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him. For we may say, Pharaoh did not know the Lord. Hello IT IS NOT AN EXCUSE! The excuse that many give is that many do not know the Lord, Oh that person is not a christian, that person is not a believer. The question is, are they excused? Romans 2:14-16 Even Gentiles, who do not have God’s written law, show that they know his law when they instinctively obey it, even without having heard it. They demonstrate that God’s law is written in their hearts, for their own co

POWER IS AVAILABLE

Exodus 4:5 “Perform this sign,” the Lord told him. “Then they will believe that the Lord, the God of their ancestors—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—really has appeared to you.” The place of signs and wonders to reach out to unbelievers cannot be ignored. Jesus said: John 4:48 Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe. For Moses to be able to bring the message of deliverance to the children of Israel he needed to show the evidence of who sent him. Mark 16:17-18 These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.” Power is always released when the presence of the Lord is there. For the Lord who sent you will empower you for the work He sent you to d

HE INTRODUCES HIMSELF

Exodus 3:13-14 But Moses protested, “If I go to the people of Israel and tell them, ‘The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,’ they will ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what should I tell them?” God replied to Moses, I AM who I AM. Say this to the people of Israel: I AM has sent me to you.” (personally capitalized) In our Christian race, have we ever paused to ask, "Who is this God we serve?" Good question. For many cannot follow the instruction of preaching the gospel to the nations because, they have no idea who the Heavenly Father is. Those religions that kill people in the name of God, including the early crusaders and muslims of more recent time, really have no knowledge of God. Most are moved by hearsay! "Man" could actually be very gullible and live their whole lives following what they have no understanding of, only getting to the end to discover that they actually walked blindly. HOW CAN SOMEONE WHO HAS NO IDEA WHERE THEY ARE GOING LEAD

WE PRAY?

Exodus 2:23-25 Years passed, and the king of Egypt died. But the Israelites continued to groan under their burden of slavery. They cried out for help, and their cry rose up to God. God heard their groaning, and he remembered His covenant promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He looked down on the people of Israel and knew it was time to act. We cannot underrate prayers! Man's problem began when the enemy was able to deceive man that they could be without God. The fruit was to make them knowledgeable and wise as the Heavenly Father, thus they get their so called freedom "foolishness". Genesis 3:4-5 “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.” As foolish as it may look now, the enemy still does the same, in promising illuminati it actually plunges man into blindness and bondage, for immediately their eyes was supposedly opened they lost t

WHO IS TO BLAME?

Exodus 1:11 Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses. The Pharoah who knew Joseph and the generation of that time had passed away. The Pharoah as at Exodus chapter one did not know Joseph, was it that they did not keep records? Was he NOT told of how Joseph saved them from perishing? Joseph made Egypt the stronghold of the world, nations depended on them to eat. Furthermore it was Joseph that made all Egyptians subject or slaves to Pharaoh. Whatever the case, this Pharaoh did not know Joseph: Exodus 1:8 Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. As a result he began to torment the people of Israel, he turned them to be slaves. He did not stop there, he began killing all male children. When times of troubles come, naturally we humans would want to seek who to blame. WHO IS TO BLAME? The truth is if we are going to blame anyone we would blame the He

ALWAYS FOR THE GOOD

Genesis 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; [but] God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as [it is] this day, to save much people alive. A lot of things could befall a man, however when you have the Heavenly Father's attention, all works for good. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. One question that comes to every human is "How important are we?" Are we humans significant, considering our enormous population, that is, those who have lived before us, those living now and those who are yet to come. What make us or "me" as an individual significant? We could begin with the end, for man's impact is felt after they have left the scene, what would we be remembered for after we have left, what is our legacy? Thus we live such that we have a good legacy. Where we go after here matters for we have immeasurable amount of time af

THE REVELATION OF THE MESSIAH

Genesis 49:10 The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from his descendants, until the coming of the one to whom it belongs, the one whom all nations will honor From all scriptures the revelation of Christ was revealed. For every event from the beginning of creation pointed to the Heavenly Father's master plan to bring all men unto Himself. When Jacob prophesied concerning his children, he prophesied that the Messiah would be revealed through Judah. For he said that the ruler’s staff will never leave there and when you read through scriptures it never did for even when the kingdom was taken away from Saul's son, Judah still remained. John 5:39 “You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me! For the Torah begins to make meaning when we see Christ revealed. Hope for man's full redemption. Ephesians 3:9-12 I was chosen to explain to everyone this mysterious plan that God, the Creator of

LIVING FOR THE FUTURE

Genesis 49:1 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you [that] which shall befall you in the last days. When we look at Jacob's proclamation on his children we are cautioned to live our lives carefully, for it is not just about us, we have a legacy to uphold and a generation to cater for. Our deeds today surely will reflect on our future. Reuben though the first born, had a bad testimony so did his next two brothers, who easily shed blood: Genesis 49:2-7 “Come and listen, you sons of Jacob; listen to Israel, your father. “Reuben, you are my firstborn, my strength, the child of my vigorous youth. You are first in rank and first in power. But you are as unruly as a flood, and you will be first no longer. For you went to bed with my wife; you defiled my marriage couch. “Simeon and Levi are two of a kind; their weapons are instruments of violence. May I never join in their meetings; may I never be a party to their plans. For in

EXTRAORDINARY LEADERSHIP

Genesis 47:20-21,23-25 So Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh. All the Egyptians sold him their fields because the famine was so severe, and soon all the land belonged to Pharaoh. As for the people, he made them all slaves, from one end of Egypt to the other. Then Joseph said to the people, “Look, today I have bought you and your land for Pharaoh. I will provide you with seed so you can plant the fields. Then when you harvest it, one-fifth of your crop will belong to Pharaoh. You may keep the remaining four-fifths as seed for your fields and as food for you, your households, and your little ones.” “You have saved our lives!” they exclaimed. “May it please you, my lord, to let us be Pharaoh’s servants.” The evidence of God's Spirit in man is not limited to speaking in tongues or other spiritual gymnastics. It produces great wisdom and insight which when applied produces solution to man's problems. Thus when we read about people like Joseph and Daniel, we see k

LET GOD LEAD

Genesis 46:2-3 During the night God spoke to him in a vision. “Jacob! Jacob!” he called.“Here I am,” Jacob replied. “I am God, the God of your father,” the voice said. “Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will make your family into a great nation. Everyone looks out for that breakthrough, that open door, that would make a difference in their lives and take them to the next level. When we listen to prayers this is the most common. Many go to gatherings of worship just to hear of this hope, the instant transformation that will turn things for the better in their lives. However we must make sure the Lord gives us a Go-Ahead! We should not be carried away with the joy of the moment and forget to hear from Him who has the final say. Jacob had to hear from the Lord. Don't just relocate, change that job, school, make that choice or take that path without confirming from the Lord. For if the Lord is not involved, who would you turn to when challenges come? What is

HE MAKES IT WORK FOR GOOD

Genesis 45:5,7 But don’t be upset, and don’t be angry with yourselves for selling me to this place. It was God who sent me here ahead of you to preserve your lives. God has sent me ahead of you to keep you and your families alive and to preserve many survivors. We may not fully understand why someone could become "a son of perdition". Why some could plot evil as if they were created for that same purpose. (WE YET HAVE THE POWER OF CHOICE) However what we are taught is that the Lord uses everything to bring His will to pass. Also that we are not to be that son of perdition: Matthew 18:7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! It is terrible when one is not able to ask forgiveness and make amends. It is better to stay away from playing the evil one. For our Heavenly Father is Light and in Him is no darkness at all: 1John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him,

EVIDENCE OF A CHANGED HEART

Genesis 44:33-34 “So please, my Lord, let me stay here as a slave instead of the boy, and let the boy return with his brothers. For how can I return to my father if the boy is not with me? I couldn’t bear to see the anguish this would cause my father!” Definitely a different mindset from what they had when they wronged their brother Joseph. They never at that time thought of what great pain they would bring their father. It must have taken years to heal. Joseph had to prove them, to be sure they had truly changed. How many believers are believers in fact and deed and not just in words. For Jesus said: Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. For it easy to claim, however, it is another thing to prove. For many claim that they love the Lord, however when their lives are examined we see that the love only ends at the claim but cannot be proved. 1 John 3:18

DREAM COME TRUE

Genesis 43:28 And they answered, Thy servant our father [is] in good health, he [is] yet alive. And they bowed down their heads, and made obeisance. At the time Joseph talked of his dream, he met with envy, hatred and unbelief. Above thirteen years later, the dream comes to pass, his elder brothers with full willingness bow to him. They even called their father his servant. Habakkuk 2:2-3 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make [it] plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. I know of many ministers who are doing exploits today who back then had these scriptures in Habakkuk as one of their watch words. They went through the tough and thick, having the vision in mind, never wavering, then the breakthrough came. In foolishness, some see them today and in envy try to accomplish wh

FACING IT

Genesis 42:3 And Joseph's ten brethren went down to buy corn in Egypt. What we are today is a function of our yesterday(s), thus our tomorrow would be a function of our today(s). While they were taking all those wrong actions, displaying evil youthful exuberance, they did not have in mind the after effect, what they were accumulating for the future. If not that the Lord showed them mercy. Believers are instructed to sow wisely that you may have peace in the future. Is that not what your salvation is about? Selah We received salvation that our eternity may be secured. John 1:12 But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. John 3:18 “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. We took the right step to guarantee eternal bliss. Halleluyah. Thus the actions and decisions we take are to ensure that our

PROMOTION

Genesis 41:40-44 You will be in charge of my court, and all my people will take orders from you. Only I, sitting on my throne, will have a rank higher than yours.” Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I hereby put you in charge of the entire land of Egypt.” Then Pharaoh removed his signet ring from his hand and placed it on Joseph’s finger. He dressed him in fine linen clothing and hung a gold chain around his neck. Then he had Joseph ride in the chariot reserved for his second-in-command. And wherever Joseph went, the command was shouted, “Kneel down!” So Pharaoh put Joseph in charge of all Egypt. And Pharaoh said to him, “I am Pharaoh, but no one will lift a hand or foot in the entire land of Egypt without your approval.” Waiting has never been easy, however when you walk with the Lord, you must learn to wait. https://ikthewatcher.blogspot.com/2018/02/waiting-on-lord.html?m=1 Joseph had gone through his training period: from the pit to being dragged as a slave all the way to a foreign

TRAINING PERIOD

Genesis 40:3-4 and he put them in the prison where Joseph was, in the palace of the captain of the guard. They remained in prison for quite some time, and the captain of the guard assigned them to Joseph, who looked after them. When we look through scriptures we learn that it is good to go through your training period before occupying your position. For the first man and woman who fell were without experience, they were tested and they failed. James 1:3-4 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. For Joseph had the dreams, it had been revealed to him, he never let go of the vision. He held tightly unto it and to the One who revealed it to Him, for he said: Genesis 39:9b  how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? He had the author of the vision at heart. Looking at his present condition anyone would ad

GOD'S FAVOUR

Genesis 39:1-4 When Joseph was taken to Egypt by the Ishmaelite traders, he was purchased by Potiphar, an Egyptian officer. Potiphar was captain of the guard for Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. The Lord was with Joseph, so he succeeded in everything he did as he served in the home of his Egyptian master. Potiphar noticed this and realized that the lord was with Joseph, giving him success in everything he did. This pleased Potiphar, so he soon made Joseph his personal attendant. He put him in charge of his entire household and everything he owned. God's favour exists, yes, He puts one in position of advantage. There are people who enjoy this favour. Let me quickly say, yet not digressing, that one may ask about those who are yet to know the Lord and it seems everything just keeps working out for them. We must remember that everyone born into the world has default talents and gifts, just like a pre-installed software. No man is created empty, none. Some are born into wealthy home

WHEN YOU MISS THE WAY (Genesis 38)

"Please read through patiently" When you read Genesis 38, you may seem to get confused and wonder why all these abnormal situations. I remember reading this chapter for the first time as a child, I was equally perplexed. What strange events. It could arouse many questions and doubts in the mind and make you wonder who God is? Let us look at it. Judah left home, or do I say, wondered away and made a Canaanite friend Hirah. Genesis 38:1,11 About this time, Judah left home and moved to Adullam, where he stayed with a man named Hirah. From this friendship he married a woman from Canaan, the daughter of Shua, he had three sons in succession, Er then Onan and then Shilah. He then took a wife for his first son Er called Tamar. Now the story turns soar: Genesis 38:7 And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD slew him. And, his brother Onan: Genesis 38:8-10 Then Judah said to Er’s brother Onan, “Go and marry Tamar, as our law re

GUARD YOUR HEART

Genesis 37:23-25a So when Joseph arrived, his brothers ripped off the beautiful robe he was wearing. Then they grabbed him and threw him into the cistern. Now the cistern was empty; there was no water in it. Then, just as they were sitting down to eat, Do we understand the mind of man? The fallen man became dead, this was how far man fell: Genesis 6:5 The Lord observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil. How? The fall of man brought about pollution, for man became open to the power of choice, where evil was an option, thus when unchecked, evil flowed. Some may ask what of those who did good, it was not that they did good but that they chose good. Let us look at the garden of eden again: Genesis 2:16-17 But the Lord God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden— except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to

DREAM KILLERS

Genesis 37:2-5 This is the account of Jacob and his family. When Joseph was seventeen years old, he often tended his father’s flocks. He worked for his half brothers, the sons of his father’s wives Bilhah and Zilpah. But Joseph reported to his father some of the bad things his brothers were doing. Jacob loved Joseph more than any of his other children because Joseph had been born to him in his old age. So one day Jacob had a special gift made for Joseph—a beautiful robe. But his brothers hated Joseph because their father loved him more than the rest of them. They couldn’t say a kind word to him. One night Joseph had a dream, and when he told his brothers about it, they hated him more than ever. It was one thing that their Father loved him more than the rest of them, yes they were not happy about it. Moreso it was another, that the boy had dreams of being above all of them, so much that they would even bow to him. Thus they hated him more. I wonder what kind of hatred a sibling

YOU WERE MADE TO PROSPER

Genesis 36:6-7 Esau took his wives, his children, and his entire household, along with his livestock and cattle—all the wealth he had acquired in the land of Canaan—and moved away from his brother, Jacob. There was not enough land to support them both because of all the livestock and possessions they had acquired. We must understand that in the beginning God saw that all He created was good. The scriptures records that He blessed them. [Genesis 1:4,10,12,18,21,25,31] [31]Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good! And evening passed and morning came, marking the sixth day. Yes everything the Heavenly Father made was good. Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. By default man was made to prosper! However we understand that man fel
