WE PRAY?

Exodus 2:23-25
Years passed, and the king of Egypt died. But the Israelites continued to groan under their burden of slavery. They cried out for help, and their cry rose up to God.
God heard their groaning, and he remembered His covenant promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
He looked down on the people of Israel and knew it was time to act.

We cannot underrate prayers!

Man's problem began when the enemy was able to deceive man that they could be without God. The fruit was to make them knowledgeable and wise as the Heavenly Father, thus they get their so called freedom "foolishness".

Genesis 3:4-5
“You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman.
“God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”

As foolish as it may look now, the enemy still does the same, in promising illuminati it actually plunges man into blindness and bondage, for immediately their eyes was supposedly opened they lost their authority.

John 9:39-41
Then Jesus told him, “I entered this world to render judgment—to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind.”
Some Pharisees who were standing nearby heard him and asked, “Are you saying we’re blind?”
“If you were blind, you wouldn’t be guilty,” Jesus replied. “But you remain guilty because you claim you can see.

We "cannot" without the Heavenly Father, for we were created to depend on Him:

Acts 17:28a
For in him we live, and move, and have our being;

This is why we pray, we need the Heavenly Father, He deserves our worship, He has the solution to all our problems and He has the Master Plan.

So the children of Israel had been suffering in the strange land, however unless they prayed, nothing may have happened.

However, there had to be a promise:

Exodus 2:24
And God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

This is why we pray the word, for He exalts His word. We do ourselves good to know what the word of the Lord says concerning every area of our lives be it health, family, finance, business or ministry. Those that know their God (His Word, John 1:1) are those that do exploits. Halleluyah, God's name be praised.

Psalms 138:2,4
I bow before your holy Temple as I worship. I praise your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness; for your promises are backed by all the honor of your name.
Every king in all the earth will thank you, Lord, for all of them will hear your words.

We learn to know His promises for every aspect of our lives. Where do we find this promises? - in His word. Thus we study the word.

No matter the pestilence, there is a promise. So we pray reminding the Lord what He has said.

Have you gotten a specific promise from the Lord, a vision, a dream, a revelation or even an instruction, continually remind Him in prayer.

Do you know that you are an intercessor? For your children, your family, the church, your  business/workplace even your community or country. It should prompt you to pray for all these aspects.

When you intercede, you qualify to receive instructions and revelations concerning the people you intercede.

Can you see the promise in the life of your children?

Exodus 2:2
The woman became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She saw that he was a special baby and kept him hidden for three months.

It took a praying mother to see that there was something special about the child. She was so sure of it that she risked the king's wrath by hiding the boy.

However her faith made her get paid to raise her own child and then he became a prince. Selah

Prayer cannot be overemphasized. Every believer must stay in prayers, for that is the place of victory. We must continually be in communion with the Heavenly Father.

1 Thessalonians 5:17
 Pray without ceasing.

A prayerful christian is one who knows the word, loves the presence of the Heavenly Father and is an intercessor. It is not just about making noise, vain repetitions or incantations. We pray in the Spirit and with understanding. For we do not pray abstract, we pray with direction.

Matthew 6:5-8
“When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I tell you the truth, that is all the reward they will ever get.
But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.
“When you pray, don’t babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again.
Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him!

This is wisdom, this is direction, this is prayer.

For it is not as if what you are praying for is unknown to the Father, but He has instructed that you must bring it in prayer.

Matthew 7:7-8
“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.

John 16:24
Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Let all know that prayer is only to the Heavenly Father and there is only one mediator that is Christ Jesus. Halleluyah. We do not pray to angels, the dead, a prophet(dead or alive) or to any other being. The enemies are waiting to impersonate any being when we err. Selah

We go ahead and pray. Pray.

The Lord will hear our prayers and heal our land. Glory to His name.

He calls us blessed.

Love
