INSTRUCTIONS
Exodus 10:1
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Return to Pharaoh and make your demands again. I have made him and his officials stubborn so I can display my miraculous signs among them.
The owner of glory is the Heavenly Father, no matter what happens He takes the glory for He is God and there is none besides Him.
Pharaoh had played the stubborn one, he had kept ignoring the warning of the Lord to let the children of Israel go, now he was about to be hit by that which will bring crying and wailing all over Egypt.
Exodus 11:5-6
All the firstborn sons will die in every family in Egypt, from the oldest son of Pharaoh, who sits on his throne, to the oldest son of his lowliest servant girl who grinds the flour. Even the firstborn of all the livestock will die.
Then a loud wail will rise throughout the land of Egypt, a wail like no one has heard before or will ever hear again.
Yes the Lord hardened his heart, however he was stubborn at the beginning. The summary is that the Lord had to display His power, the glory is for the Lord alone.
At this time there was one key thing - INSTRUCTION(S). For those who will be saved are those who listened to and obeyed instruction(s):
Exodus 9:18-21&25
So tomorrow at this time I will send a hailstorm more devastating than any in all the history of Egypt.
Quick! Order your livestock and servants to come in from the fields to find shelter. Any person or animal left outside will die when the hail falls.’”
Some of Pharaoh’s officials were afraid because of what the lord had said. They quickly brought their servants and livestock in from the fields.
But those who paid no attention to the word of the lord left theirs out in the open.
It left all of Egypt in ruins. The hail struck down everything in the open field—people, animals, and plants alike. Even the trees were destroyed.
At times of troubles instruction(s) is key, for those who know what to do and do it are those who will make it through.
Wisdom is one thing lacking in our time. The church ought not to fall into this error, however can we say they don’t. For the truth is that they have gotten distracted and taken their eyes off the Redeemer:
WHAT IS CHRISTIANITY WITHOUT CHRIST?
Thus instructions are ignored, prophesies are suppressed and proper character is underemphasized.
2 Peter 1:8
For if these things be in you, and abound, they make [you that ye shall] neither [be] barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thus as we learn from the plagues that came on Egypt, we are taught the essence of instructions at critical times. We should not be carried away by fear, presumptions or carnal ego, but be led at this times. Defying the instructions of those the Lord has allowed to be in authority may end up causing disaster. What do we do when it counters God’s will. We turn it over to the Lord, He will tell us the next line of action.
Matthew 2:13
And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
At time of crises, persecutions, plagues or troubles, listen for instruction.
There will be a final time of turmoil, all plagues and terrible happenings now will be little compared to that of the final times. Those who will be saved are those who put their trust in the Lord. Those who have accepted Him, that is the salvation He has provided in Christ Jesus, His Son. Those who walk in obedience.
May we always be at the righteous side of God. Help us Good Lord.
Jude 1:24-25
Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault.
All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.
Halleluyah
He calls us blessed.
