EXTRAORDINARY LEADERSHIP

Genesis 47:20-21,23-25
So Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh. All the Egyptians sold him their fields because the famine was so severe, and soon all the land belonged to Pharaoh.
As for the people, he made them all slaves, from one end of Egypt to the other.
Then Joseph said to the people, “Look, today I have bought you and your land for Pharaoh. I will provide you with seed so you can plant the fields.
Then when you harvest it, one-fifth of your crop will belong to Pharaoh. You may keep the remaining four-fifths as seed for your fields and as food for you, your households, and your little ones.”
“You have saved our lives!” they exclaimed. “May it please you, my lord, to let us be Pharaoh’s servants.”

The evidence of God's Spirit in man is not limited to speaking in tongues or other spiritual gymnastics. It produces great wisdom and insight which when applied produces solution to man's problems. Thus when we read about people like Joseph and Daniel, we see kings excel in their leadership because of their skills and insight.

Today we see a lot of mediocrity displayed by those who claim to know the Lord. Some have become beggars while others have become manipulators. This is not what Christ taught. For by parables He taught us about accountability and stewardship.

He said that our good works and exploits would cause men to glorify the Heavenly Father:

Matthew 5:16
In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

A wake up call to all who have missed the testimonies of the believer. The believer is not a nuisance to the world but a seasoning that brings the Heavenly Father's taste to a hungry generation:

Matthew 5:13-15
“You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless.
“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.
No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house.

Thus when the believer is involved in any work it prospers for the blessings of the Lord is in it.

Romans 12:11
Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

Thus we see the example of Joseph, no fault could be found in him even when he had not "blown", been promoted.

How come we have believers today who are guilty of fraud, known as liars, untrusted and whose work cannot be commended. We see many who claim to believe and hold positions of authority and they had bad or poor performances. This is not of God, these ones have lost their way for the scriptures says:

James 1:5
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.

How then can you as a believer fail as a leader?

We have no excuse. We must excel as leaders for we are recognized by the Heavenly Father. No matter the height of your leadership, you must excel, the Father must be glorified.

You may think that you do not lead, however as a parent you lead, even as an elder in the home you lead. Everyone leads.

We must remember that the first person to lead is YOUR SELF! selah

Dear Father we see your Spirit released afresh to all believers, may we lead right, we will not disappoint You. We will cause people to glorify you.

We love you Lord.

Thank you for calling us blessed.

Love
