HE SAVES HIS OWN

Exodus 9:5-7
The Lord has already set the time for the plague to begin. He has declared that he will strike the land tomorrow.
And the Lord did just as he had said. The next morning all the livestock of the Egyptians died, but the Israelites didn’t lose a single animal.
Pharaoh sent his officials to investigate, and they discovered that the Israelites had not lost a single animal! But even so, Pharaoh’s heart remained stubborn, and he still refused to let the people go.

Pharaoh may have thought that the pestilence was common to all of them in Egypt, however, from the fourth plague God's people were exempted from experiencing it. The Heavenly Father's power and authority is unlimited.

The preservation of His own in the midst of plagues, troubles or disasters is testified through scriptures and is yet evident today.

The Lord can preserve His own, no matter the source of the troubles:

Psalms 91:4-8
He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,  nor the arrow that flies in the day.
Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you,  these evils will not touch you.
Just open your eyes,  and see how the wicked are punished.

Yes at the end of all things the evil ones will be destroyed. However before those times their troubles still comes. The Lord says the He will preserve His own in those times.

This morning we are reassured that He will keep us from the pestilence in the land. Glory to His name.

He calls us blessed.

Love
