THE ATMOSPHERE 1 (a reminder)

Genesis 3:8   And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. There are times when we wonder if God was really there, if He is in charge of the situation. I have been asked time and again if God knows everything, and if He does, why does he allow somethings to happen? The answer to this question is answered if we understand who man really is, do we know who God really created. Genesis 1:26-28   And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.   So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.   And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, an

In God's hands

Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Yes * We have requests * We may have something bothering us * We have a big project, job or assignment on our hands * There is an issue in the family * We need a financial provision urgently * There is someone who needs healing * We have a matter to settle or an issue to resolve * Someone may have hurt or annoyed us * we await news, we wait for a report . . . .yes and maybe others not mentioned. Notwithstanding, today lay them all aside and just acknowledge Him who made us see today, give Him praise, worship Him, give Him thanks . . . Let's set today aside to recognise Him who made all things and who controls all things. Revelation 7:12  saying: "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen." Romans 16:27 to God, alone wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen. We know He c

Yahweh, the merciful God

Psalm 136:26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy [endureth] for ever. When we know the extent of our fall, the consequence of our being born in sin. We surely will begin to understand God's mercy. That which made Christ to be dragged on the ground, beaten with spiked whips, scourged with crown of thorns, then nailed on the parts that could produce the most excruciating pain, the centers of the hands and feet, dangling from a tree, naked, left in hunger, thirst and bitterness. God's mercy displayed to man. David experienced a bit of God's mercy running here and their for his life, even in victory as king when he sinned, he asked and received mercy. Thus he sang this song through Psalm 136:1 - 26 "... for His mercy endureth forever" God is merciful all who trust Him will continue to enjoy His grace and mercy. Mary sang: Luke 1:50 And his mercy [is] on them that fear him from generation to generation. Paul confirmed: Ephesians 2:4 B

THE LORD IS GOOD

Psalm 107:8 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men! There is nothing like setting aside all worries to look back and around us to see all the Lord has done for us. We definitely will understand the He is good. We have had shortcomings yet He showed us mercy. Psalm 145:8 The LORD [is] gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. He is the one who takes us from one level to the next: Psalm 136:23 Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy [endureth] for ever: We have every reason to give Him thanks. Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. That is who God is, "God is good ! And we that have believed, we have his nature! 1John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth

BE LIKE

1 John 3:1-2 (NLT) [1]See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. [2]Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. There is the character of the believer, it is the fruit of the Spirit, because we are born of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, temperance: against such there is no law. We do not know what we will be like, when Jesus Christ returns, but I John 3:2 says we will be like Him. Glory! However while we are here we live like the nature we carry, the same nature Christ carried when He was here. The nature of those born of the Spirit. We live like Him. Luke 9:54-56 And whe

Be Real, You have JOY, Rejoice.

Matthew 11:18-19 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.  The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children. There is this need to mystify the people of Christ, to feel that those who have been been born again do not laugh, eat or have things to do with people around them. When the bible says we should be separate it meant not to do the evil others do and not to be trapped in the philosophy of the world. Joy is one evidence of our pact with God. We do not go out morose, a sad face does not show that we serve God even if we were fasting. Matthew 6:16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. Even in the face of persecution, the joy of the believer does not fade away. Romans

LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION (a reminder)

LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION Matthew 6:13  "And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. for Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Most time we could get carried away with satan or the devil the question is what role does he play? How exactly do we fall into temptation. James explained this to us: James 1:14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. That is what Jesus prayed about, He knew that as long as we are in this world temptations abound and since we have the power of choice, there is a probability to choose wrong. So Jesus then prayed for us that God would not allow us fall into temptation. John 17:15  "I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one God will speak through His Spirit and angels, yet the final decision is ours, remember He made us in His image, we have the power to choose. Look at these ver

YOU ARE THE EAGLE

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint. The criteria for your eagle status, is that you wait on the Lord! When a powerful eagle exposes itself to the land below: Everyone begin to think it is its place.  Some foolishly take it is as common. (1Timothy 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.)  Forgetting that the eagle still has its place at the high grounds Don't take it for granted cause anything it lifts, either goes as a friend with it to greater heights or is dropped below to crash. For those who understand! Psalm 40:3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, [even] praise unto our God: many shall see [it], and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. So you feel you are like the chicken. No it is just

Who they are?

2 Corinthians 5:16a Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: One great mistake people make is to tell one off without allowing the person prove their stance. Do we know what they represent, has God revealed anything about them to us? We ought to be cautious yet we need to know when/what to permit and also when/what to dismiss. There are things the scriptures require we run away from at a glance, those things we do not give a second opportunity they include: * sexual sin * gossip * plots to do evil * idolatry * all appearances of evil Proverbs 1:15 my son, do not walk in the way with them, keep your foot from their path; 1Corinthians 10:14 Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. 1Corinthians 6:18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 2Timothy 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord

Angels on Assignment

Psalm 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. The angels are God's workmen they carry out their assignments as the Lord had purposed them, everyone having his duty and reason for being. The bible says they also minister to those of us who are saved, having received adoption as sons: Hebrews 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? However in no way are we given the right to command them thus and thus, they listen to the instruction of the Father. 2Kings 6:17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain [was] full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. See here we see that Elisha did not instruct the angels but prayed to the Father! Let us listen to Jesus: Matthew 26:53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and h

Glory (a reminder)

2Chronicles 20:6 and said: "O LORD God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You? One thing is certain, that in all that man has done and will do, the focus will be on the Alpha and the Omega. Be they believers, non-believers and even atheists it is all around the fact that it all begins with and ends with God. The reference point is always God, that He is , or He is not. That He wants it this way or He wants it that way. That there is only one way or that there are many ways. No matter the stand it all circles around God. For those who have not believed, they will eventually believe, but at what time they finally do, will thus determine if we should rejoice over them or cry for them. If it is on this earth, that is in their lifetime, then we can rejoice, but if it is after here then it is tragic. Daniel 4:17  'This dec

BLESS (a reminder)

Definitely we feel pain and hurt when we are wronged, betrayed or hurt. More painful if it comes from a loved one. Betrayal tears at the heart and the easiest thing to do is to wish evil for the one who hurt us. We could be tempted to curse with outspoken words or in our heart. This blessed Sunday we are reminded to bless and not to curse. Romans 12:14  Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Luke 6:28  "bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. Romans 12:19  Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. It is not that it is easy to do, however the Holy Spirit is there to help us. That is why He came to live inside of us. [If you are reading this and yet to recieve, Yeahua, Jesus the Christ as your Lord and Saviour. The struggle continues. Why not let Him have control. We will yet stand before Him. Let us meet him as frie

Liberty, that is why He came

LIBERTY Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, Jesus the Christ came to bring liberty, because man was in bondage. 1. Man was poor: Revelation 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: Man was poor in his soul he had nothing for eternity, he had no reward, one cannot talk of wealth with what is perishable. Revelation 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and [that] the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. James 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God ch

FREEDOM IN SONSHIP

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Who knows what it means to be a father than the author of family himself, "God the Father". One beautiful thing about being a son is liberty. We can talk with the Father, be loved of the Father and enjoy His presence not in fear but in reverence, yes in honour. Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The kind of fear we have is not of slave to master but son to father. 2 Corinthians 6:18, 7:1 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.  Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Thus we live like the family we are born into, we live like Christ, always do

PRAISE YE THE LORD!

Psalms 113:2-4 (NLT) Blessed be the name of the lord now and forever. Everywhere—from east to west—     praise the name of the lord. For the lord is high above the nations;  his glory is higher than the heavens. Jehovah is praised all over the earth, many have praised Him before we came into existence many more will yet praise Him today, tomorrow, and even when we leave the scene. What a privilege to be part of the number to give Him praise. Glory to God. Do you know that some have abandoned believe in God, some have rejected salvation wish He gave in His Son Jesus the Christ. We are privileged to believe and be sustained. Hebrews 10:38-39 (NLT) And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved. So praise the Lord because spiritual sanity is believing and serving God! Psalm 14:1. The fool hath sai

GOD WILL NOT FORGET YOU

Isaiah 49:15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. One great example of love, care and sacrifice is relationship between mother and sucking child. Yet in time of great crises a mother may have to run and leave her child. Today we even see females who throw away or kill their children because they feel they are not ready to be mothers. We look at God talking of the children of zion, Israel, how Jesus the Christ will rise from their midst and bring salvation and deliver them from their enemy. (though Israel did not know her real enemy) Isaiah 49 : 13 & 10 Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.  They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of wate

NOW THAT YOU HAVE GOT IT, REMEMBER (a reminder

NOW THAT YOU HAVE GOT IT, REMEMBER (a reminder) Psalms 116:14  I will pay my vows to the LORD Now in the presence of all His people. There was the time we seeked God's face for one thing or the other. We desired so much we could even have gone to the length of making a vow or promising to do this or that when the Lord brings it to pass. Was it when we waited on Him for: * marriage * work * promotion * health/healing * money * a house * deliverance from one problem or another * academic success * help on behalf of family or friend * a position of authority * a breakthrough The situation could have been in any measure. Will we forget all the promises, all that we determined in our heart to do? All the good intentions. God told the children of Isreal Deuteronomy 6:12 "then beware, lest you forget the LORD who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. Funny enough they did forget! 1Samuel 1:11 Then she made a vow and said

BE PATIENT

James 1:4 But let patience have [her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Content to wait if necessary; not losing one's temper while waiting; not bothered with having to wait; not unwilling to wait. This is the English definition of patient. The description is so clear, not loosing one's temper while waiting. 2 Peter 1:6 & 7 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. Peter emphasizes this too. The lack is why many believers are not fruitful, and some do not practice godliness. They are not patient enough to be led by God's Spirit. 2 Peter 1:8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make [you that ye shall] neither [be] barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thus many cannot see what God's plan for them is, many have entered wrong paths, built wrong attitudes, relied on self,

I CAN SEE 2

Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, [so] far hath he removed our transgressions from us. This is a great victory that God had worked in us through His son Jesus the Christ. Transgressions,  guilt and unbelieve keeps us from experiencing the glory of our maker. Adam lost it at the garden of eden, however God then made us greater, we live in the Holy Spirit everyday, not just a visit in evenings but a continual dwelling in the Holy Spirit. However without sight we remain in slavery, because when you do not see, you cannot become, then you cannot enter. Ephesians 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.. .  (selah) John 3:3 & 5 Jesus answered and

I CAN SEE 1

Acts 7:56  And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. He was Stephen not one of the apostles he was a faithful steward the bible says that he and others chosen with him were honest, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom. They were members of the church. Acts 6:3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. What were they chosen to do? Acts 6:2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples [unto them], and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. "to serve tables" However, there was something about these men that could not keep then serving tables: The had moved from believing to seeing. We can testify of two of them: Acts 6:5  And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus,

LIVE LIKE CHRIST

Ephesians 4:20 But ye have not so learned Christ; Many things we do, we need to source its origin, many things we teach, practice and emphasize we need to prove that it is of Christ. We need to search our hearts make it bare to the Father and say "anything that is not of you let it not be part of me" Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. When Christ Jesus spoke they heard Him in proverbs but when the Holy Spirit was revealed we hear Him in clarity. His will becomes our will thus we ask and we receive. John 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give [it] you. We must live the life we received not chasing after the things of the world (summarized as "LUST" 1John 2:15), the Lord takes care of His own. May nothing take us away

REACH INSIDE

John 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. When a person receives grace to believe the salvation in Christ Jesus that the Father has given to us, repents and accepts this new life, he receives the Holy Spirit and is thus empowered to be God's son and to live the life of faith. John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: Acts 2:38  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. However the flesh man is not destroyed, it will be destroyed at the return of Christ, we should understand that when a man dies, Christ has already taken place for him, because there is no way he can walk any more in faith, his epistle has alread

DENOMINATIONS YET IN LOVE

Philippians 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, [being] of one accord, of one mind. We have many denominations here and there all to the glory of God: Genesis 11:8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. That God scattered men across the world, giving differs languages also led to man having diverse cultures and practices. Yet we should remember that there was always the beginning. (Matthew 19:8) Selah! Yes, there would be some disparity on believe and practices yet we should remember that the Word remains ONE. So no matter what we teach, correct, or try to make impact in, it does not have to become a strife, or a form of superiority it should be with love. Philippians 2:3 [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Thus we will all sharpen one another, edify one another at the end God

Surprised

Mark 6:6 And he was greatly surprised because they had no faith. And he went about the country places teaching. Every farmer who sows expects good harvest, no farmer sows and expects loss. No one invests and expect to lose, the essence of the investment is that profit would be made. Act 3:12 And when Peter saw it he said to the people, You men of Israel, why are you so greatly surprised at this man? or why are you looking at us as if by our power or virtue we had given him the use of his legs? Act 4:13 Now when they saw that Peter and John were without fear, though they were men of no education or learning, they were greatly surprised; and they took note of them that they had been with Jesus. The act of expecting and seeing something else has been a long age event. Many have appeared strong but have displayed weakness, many have appeared weak but have displayed great strength. The greatest bewilderment that could happen to anyone is to finish the life here on earth and dis

ENOUGH OF MY FAILING SELF

Galatians 2:20  I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. For everyone who has not believed or known salvation in the only way the Father, God the Almighty has set for all men. There is grace to be saved today, all they need to do is call on Him today through His Son Jesus the Christ then they receive salvation. ("As a believer have you been telling the unsaved this?") Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. That said, does a believer then need salvation again. No, however a believer can lose the way, allowing flesh to reign. Romans 7:25  I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Any believer who lives after the flesh would fall back into the bondage of sin "I am an exam

DO WE STILL REACH OUT TO THE LOST?

Acts 14:27 And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles. Glory to God for His mighty miracles and deeds of exploits in our midst as we gather in worship week after week. Breakthroughs, new and better jobs, marriages, children, financial increase, healings and so on however the greatest testimony is that the lost are found, unbelievers become believers. DO WE STILL HAVE THIS TESTIMONY? If we do, glory to God, if not, we need to repent. We need to take care of our family this is very important, however we also need to reach out to the unsaved. Luke 15:7  I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. Do have an awesome time with the brethren today. God bless you. Love @the watcher

PAUSE: Exchange rightly (a reminder)

Isaiah 40:31  But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Many have traded their joy chasing over material things and the pleasures and satisfaction of the world. The question is "is it worth it?". Yes we must earn, work and keep improving day after day but we must remember "nothing is free". We must pay a price. So, what are we ready to sacrifice? Some have sacrificed, their: * health * peace of mind * children * marriage * calling * ministry * good name All in the bid to get material things. 2Timothy 4:10 for Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed for Thessalonica-- Crescens for Galatia, Titus for Dalmatia. There is always a process, we would get into trouble when we try to use the shortcut, to get it by all means and immediately. Let us be careful of what exchange we make! Let

NEVER SATISFIED

1 Timothy 6:6  But godliness with contentment is great gain. When some scriptures are read we are reminded that there is a context and there is a time, the times we are in now differ from what it was when the word came, thus it was expressed according to the prevailing time. What do I mean? This does not say that God's revealed or spoken word has changed or does not imply the same thing NO, God's word is Yea and Amen! Let us look at an example: Hebrews 13:2 (BBE) Take care to keep open house: because in this way some have had angels as their guests, without being conscious of it. Now this does not mean that you leave your house unlocked because you want to entertain strangers, no, in  this times, one coming across, even coming to ask lodging from you, ought to be investigated to ascertain that they do not come with ulterior motives. Thus when we read: 1Timothy 6:8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. We should understand that having raim

THOSE WHO LEAD US

John 13 : 3 - 5 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;  After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe [them] with the towel wherewith he was girded. We live in the times when so many a leader desire to domineer over those whom they are to lead. Many canvas for the votes of the people so as to take up leadership position, however when they get the mandate they look down on these same people, they do not consider them when they take decisions, they do not take their interest at heart and many even steal or loot the commonwealth. We talk of circular leaders, they act as if they do not know that they would give account. Surely ALL MUST ACCOUNT TO GOD. Remember God has left all judgment to His Son. selah! "IT IS A CURSE TO LEAD THOSE YOU DO NOT LOVE"... selah! In the church do we follow the example of Christ? Are we leading the way He led? What o

THE SWEET SERMON

2Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; One thing must be clear the message of salvation is "the good news": Matthew 24:14 (BBE) And this good news of the kingdom will be given through all the world for a witness to all nations; and then the end will come. The good news is the redemption of man from the bondage of the law and from the power of sin and death. The adoption into sonship and the right to  live and rule in eternity with Christ. Revelation 1 : 5 & 6 And from Jesus Christ, the true witness, the first to come back from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who had love for us and has made us clean from our sins by his blood;  And has made us to be a kingdom and priests to his God and Father; to him let glory and power be given for ever and ever. So be it. Yes it is the good news, however sound doctrine enta

WE DO NOT DWELL IN SIN

Romans 8:12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. The argument of whether salvation can be lost or not is really a great one. However my advice is that we must search the scriptures properly and listen properly in the Spirit before we declare. (let me leave it to my spiritual elders for now). One thing I have learnt is not to teach personal experience but the word of God, I am not the saviour, I am one of the mouthpiece of the Saviour, thus we are brethren, we follow Christ. He teaches us, directs us, loves us and will transform us. Our assurance is that where He is, we will be also. John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also. Our instruction is to live after the spirit and not the flesh(sin), the flesh brings death but the spirit brings life. Here there is no argument, if I am of God, I live by the spirit, I live a life of righteousness.
