FREEDOM IN SONSHIP
Galatians 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Who knows what it means to be a father than the author of family himself, "God the Father". One beautiful thing about being a son is liberty. We can talk with the Father, be loved of the Father and enjoy His presence not in fear but in reverence, yes in honour.
Romans 8:15
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
The kind of fear we have is not of slave to master but son to father.
2 Corinthians 6:18, 7:1
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Thus we live like the family we are born into, we live like Christ, always doing the things that please the Father.
That is why we do not have a task master but the Spirit of Christ
Galatians 4:1-3, 5-6
Now I say, [That] the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
So we no longer have the law holding us in check or in bondage anymore, we have the Spirit of God.
NOW PLEASE DO NOT JUST LISTEN BUT HEAR WELL!
Many leaders, pastors or prophets have held people bound in bondage again! Selah!
God released us from the bondage of the law and gave us a friend, the comforter, the seal of sonship. . . THE HOLY SPIRIT!
Galatians 4:7
Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
He helps us live the life of Christ, He is the seal of our sonship, the one that cries out who we are, that we can say Abba Father. He is the Spirit of Christ!
Galatians 4:6
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
May no one put us in bondage again.
Going back to sin: is going back to bondage;
Going back to the law is bondage again;
We can also go back to bondage when we rope ourselves into the hand of men (whether men of God or men of affluence whatever)
We must let the Holy Spirit lead.
Remember we came to know God through a vessel (a human medium, someone preached to us), yes, however it is NOT he who preached we worship as Father. We follow them as they follow Christ.
1 Corinthians 10:33, 11:1
Even as I please all [men] in all [things], not seeking mine own profit, but the [profit] of many, that they may be saved.
Be ye followers of me, even as I also [am] of Christ.
The Lord will guide us aright as leaders and when we lead, we will not put people into bondage, yet we will lead then in Christ, not as the world leads but in truth and love.
When we follow we will not be in bondage again, no, but we giving our leaders rest, will live by the Spirit.
Enjoy your liberty, stay with Him who set you free.
John 8:29
And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
May we always please the Lord.
You are blessed.
