THE LORD IS GOOD

Psalm 107:8
Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!

There is nothing like setting aside all worries to look back and around us to see all the Lord has done for us. We definitely will understand the He is good.

We have had shortcomings yet He showed us mercy.

Psalm 145:8
The LORD [is] gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

He is the one who takes us from one level to the next:

Psalm 136:23
Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy [endureth] for ever:

We have every reason to give Him thanks.

Matthew 19:17
And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

That is who God is, "God is good !

And we that have believed, we have his nature!

1John 4:7
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

Psalm 118:1
O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: because his mercy [endureth] for ever.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out.
