Surprised
Mark 6:6
And he was greatly surprised because they had no faith. And he went about the country places teaching.
Every farmer who sows expects good harvest, no farmer sows and expects loss. No one invests and expect to lose, the essence of the investment is that profit would be made.
Act 3:12
And when Peter saw it he said to the people, You men of Israel, why are you so greatly surprised at this man? or why are you looking at us as if by our power or virtue we had given him the use of his legs?
Act 4:13
Now when they saw that Peter and John were without fear, though they were men of no education or learning, they were greatly surprised; and they took note of them that they had been with Jesus.
The act of expecting and seeing something else has been a long age event. Many have appeared strong but have displayed weakness, many have appeared weak but have displayed great strength.
The greatest bewilderment that could happen to anyone is to finish the life here on earth and discover that they followed a total different part from what the Lord purposed for them.
The best thing that could happen to man is to receive recommendation from God.
Luke 7:9
When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
So just like every earthly father, when we see our children who we felt were weak proving otherwise it comes as a surprise and it brings joy. It then provokes special reward.
May our lives, words and actions provoke a pleasing bewilderment from our Lord. We will not disappoint but we will cause much joy and commendation.
One beautiful thing about it is that the Lord blesses you to do more good.
Matthew 25:29a
For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance:
May we all continue to bear good fruits.
Do have an awesome day.
