ENOUGH OF MY FAILING SELF

Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

For everyone who has not believed or known salvation in the only way the Father, God the Almighty has set for all men. There is grace to be saved today, all they need to do is call on Him today through His Son Jesus the Christ then they receive salvation. ("As a believer have you been telling the unsaved this?")

Romans 10:13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

That said, does a believer then need salvation again. No, however a believer can lose the way, allowing flesh to reign.

Romans 7:25
I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Any believer who lives after the flesh would fall back into the bondage of sin "I am an example, anyone can slip". Once you allow the flesh to reign, sin is not far from you, please don't stay there, wake up and run back to life, to live in the spirit:

Romans 8:7
Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

So what are we, who have believed?  We are sons of God and sons of God can never be flesh, they are spirit!

John 3:6
"That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:

, , , what is the characteristics of God's sons:

Romans 8:14
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

This is no superfluousness, it is truth. The flesh worketh lustful things but the spirit bringeth life. THE BODY THEN MUST BE SUBJECT TO THE SPIRIT, THE SPIRIT MUST HAVE DOMINION!

Galatians 5:16
I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Thus problems arises for the believer when the spirit does not reign and then the flesh has its way. We must be careful, the flesh is defensive and could even explain away or defend its action. This would lead to "reprobate"!

Titus 1:16
They profess that they know God; but in works they deny [him], being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

I see the Lord working His mercy on us like new wine entering our vessel, old wine is poured away and we are totally renewed.

The enemy will not win over us, he has no part in us, instead God is honoured in our Body, Spirit and Soul. Halleluyah.

You are blessed.

Love
