Angels on Assignment
Psalm 91:11
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
The angels are God's workmen they carry out their assignments as the Lord had purposed them, everyone having his duty and reason for being.
The bible says they also minister to those of us who are saved, having received adoption as sons:
Hebrews 1:14
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
However in no way are we given the right to command them thus and thus, they listen to the instruction of the Father.
2Kings 6:17
And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain [was] full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
See here we see that Elisha did not instruct the angels but prayed to the Father!
Let us listen to Jesus:
Matthew 26:53
Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
He showed us the same, we are to pray to the Father, the angels receive instruction from the Father.
Thus those who think the can call names of angels beware because demons are fallen angels and some of them have the same names, they most likely would respond to you. Selah!
May the word of God always be clear to us may we not just act in the flesh may the Holy Spirit lead our lives.
Pray to the Father by the Spirit and in the name of Jesus the Christ.
John 15:16
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
We will not hit against the stone.
We are the blessed.
