YOU ARE DYNAMIC IN YOURSELF

Psalm 139:14  I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. Envy no one, you were made special no copy of you exists, you are dynamic and different. You may know others who have the same goals, aspirations or exibit the same talent/gifts with you but yet you are different. One thing you are not, is irrelevant. You are a class all by yourself. People could confuse you because of the state/position they see you at a particular point in time (be it high or low).  It limits them from seeing who you really are in the Spirit so they respond to you from the limited perception. * Abraham: Abimelech misjudged Abraham Genesis 20:7 "Now therefore, restore the man's wife; for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you and you shall live. But if you do not restore her, know that you shall surely die, you and all who are yours. * Joseph: his brothers, father, Potiphar and his wife misjudged him Gene

GOODMORNING

What is good about the morning? * those around you * that you can read this * that you can speak * that you can eat * that you have a job to do * that you can think (even worry) * that you are relevant * that you have a target to meet * that you have desires and aspirations You have every reason to thank God. As you go to accomplish this week. Let your thanksgiving summount every obstacles, delays, errors or failures that attempt to come your way. He has done it before He will yet do it again and even better. 1Corinthians 15:57  But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Have a successful week. All things will fall into place. All will be well. Love @ the watcher

TIRED

Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. It is very likely to get exhausted when you keep at it again and again after a long time especially if it is the same routines or patterns. The question should be * Is it a good thing? * Am I on the right part? * Is God happy with me? * Am I positively influencing lifes? If the answer is YES then we overlook our fatigue and move on. Galatians 6:9  And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Of course it is natural to feel exhausted the scripture says we should not get weary. It implies we know when to rest, when to replenish our strength and not to cease to rely on our heavenly supply. Mark 6:31 And He said to them, "Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while." For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat. Yet in resting we shouldn'

SILENCE: pain or gain (a reminder)

1John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. Silence could connote a lot of things. * one wanting to be left alone * anger * pain * thinking * one in trouble * not having much to say * unhappiness * stress * a hidden ailment or disease or even * fear. * could also be time to reflect and to make amends * or maybe a time out to meditate There is need for us to understand the reason behind any silence, cause though nothing might be wrong, a lot could also be wrong. Those we call our loved ones should always be on our mind that we may know when something is wrong. 1Corinthians 12:25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. One painful silence anyone could experience is when it seems God is not speaking. Nothing is as painful as not knowing what God expects from us. One thing is true God has given us medium(s) through which

ABOVE THE NOISE (a reminder)

We live in a world that is full of noise.  A lot of things coming in from every corner. If you are to live in faith you should hear the voice of the Lord above all the noise. Psalms 62:11 God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God. Jesus said His own will hear and thus they would follow Him, they would not follow another. John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: So many things seek our attention. * Some are very important * Some are not that important * Some are a mere distraction As we go about our duties and roles,  it important to listen to the Father and He speaks to us through His Holy Spirit. No wonder the character of the Holy Spirit is patience. We must learn to patiently listen, because yes he would surely speak. The love of God could seek your attention when you get so carried away or distracted, when you pay no attention or bother to listen to what He says. Oh what pain, if we need crises to

USE WHAT YOU HAVE

Matthew 25:24  "Then he who had received the one talent came and said, 'Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. Everyone was created with the power to contribute, we all have something to offer. I have come to see in man that in lacking one thing we are compensated with another. The questions is what have we done with what we have? We could decide to complain of what others have, what they know or where they have gotten to. When will we use that which we have ? When do we become that blessing? When do we become the giver or encourager. It is time to look at our accounts, assets, talents, gifts and anointing. Proverbs 11:24 - 25 There is one who scatters, yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty.  The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself. Let us make use of the little we think we know

WHAT YOU CONTROL 2 (a reminder)

Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new [man], which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: We have taken control of our self. Next we need to take control of our relationship with others. We could be * leading others: a parent, employer, pastor, teacher or in rulership position( political or otherwise) * be led by others: employee, laity, children, student, citizen, or just reporting to someone * a spouse *  a neighbour * a relation * a public servant: a journalist, welfare worker, medical personnel, in the judiciary or in the armed forces or law enforcement Whether we be reserved, outgoing or in between, we fall into one category or the other. We affect the lives of others. That is why the bible says . . . Hebrews 12:14 & 15 Pursue peace with all men, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking diligently lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by

WHAT YOU CONTROL 1 (a reminder)

Request never ending, Asking and Asking, Seeking and Seeking, Fasting and waiting, Reading and studying, Being taught day after day, from one programme to the other, one skill acquisition to another, one miracle service to the other. All these are key elements of people who are heading somewhere, who have a vision of something greater in the future. Mediocrity and laziness is not acceptable in the kingdom of God. Trying to get help on things we do not have control on. But . . . What have we done with the one we can control? God asked Moses "what do you have in your hand?" The prophet asked the widow "What do you have left?" Now the question is what are we doing with what God has allowed us to control, the number one thing is self. Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new [man], which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: How have you taken charge to ensure that you have taken care of your mind, body and soul? WORSHIP GOD

Psalm 95:6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. We live to worship God. All things began from Him and all things would end with Him. It is not by feeling, we just worship. Once we worship, we worship, it is the way we are, what we are created to be, to show forth His glory. If we don't worship God, we of course would worship someone or something else. What then is the benefit? As we gather with other believers today let us not get carried away with activities, let us worship. As we go on with our work this week let us worship. Let us also remember that when we go about doing good, we give God glory it is an act of worship. John 4:23  "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. This week will be great for you. You will have joy. God bless you. Love. @ the watcher. https://ikthewatcher.blogspot.com.ng/

THAT I MAY SEE

2Corinthians 5:16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. "What do you see?" ""What does God see?" "What is the Spirit expressing?" "What are we expressing?" Great men who walked with God, were special in that they saw things the way God saw it. We as humans were created in God's image and ought always to see from His perspective. We however live in a natural world, which has grown to contain so many distractions from the enemies, wayward men and the circular system. However we need to be in the Father's will, to see as He does. Jesus said: John 8:29 "And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him." The summary was to do what pleases Him to do so we need to continually know and abide in His will. When God rejected Saul He

Hebrews 10:38  Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, my soul has no pleasure in him." We need to understand who we are, what God created, when He made man. He made us in His image! selah What Glory! Yet what a responsibility. We have the power to choose! This is a blessing and it could also be a curse (don't get it wrong!) Joshua 24:15 "And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." Proverbs 1:29 Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the LORD, It is a wonder why the enemy was interested in man. What was man? It is still our err today, the enemy tend to see what glory, what splender God made, and we who are this splendor, have no clue who or what we are! If we

Sons and the Rejected 1

Philippians 3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, When it comes to doctrines, it ought to be established from scriptures, after careful and thorough searching, then prayers. Although today we have doctrines mixed up with tradition and heresay, then it is totally misinterpreted. John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name. Yes we are empowered to become God's children when we receive the salvation that Jesus the Christ offers, yet the walking determines those who will eventually inherit eternal life. Matthew 25:1-2, 11-12 "Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.  "Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish  "Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us  "But he answered and said,

KEEP WORKING

Proverbs 21:5 The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty. When the year began many had a lot of expectations. Some went from one programme to another seeking for one blessing or the other. There would have been a lot of promises targeted at the end of the year. Depending on what one is expecting, some may get it, yet some may not. Especially in our country, there is this mentality that one would just make it, that is "a tree just appears out of thin air". No, there is always a planting, a nurturing, then a full growth. We should remember that if: *  It is work, we should expect to spend energy * It is a journey, we should expect it to take some time. * it is a training, we should expect to learn * it is a business, it will grow from stage to stage * it is a marriage, we live it day after day * it is children, we have to train and raise them * it is a ministry, we must minister * it is a po

LET US PRAY FOR OUR LEADERS

Deutronomy 17:15-17&20  "you shall surely set a king over you whom the LORD your God chooses; one from among your brethren you shall set as king over you; you may not set a foreigner over you, who is not your brother.  "But he shall not multiply horses for himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt to multiply horses, for the LORD has said to you, 'You shall not return that way again.'  "Neither shall he multiply wives for himself, lest his heart turn away; nor shall he greatly multiply silver and gold for himself. "that his heart may not be lifted above his brethren, that he may not turn aside from the commandment to the right hand or to the left, and that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he and his children in the midst of Israel. We should vote 😀👍 There is need to pray for those who lead and those who would lead us. The bible says: Romans 13:1&2  Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no auth

THAT LITTLE PUSH

Isaiah 41:6  Everyone helped his neighbor, and said to his brother, "Be of good courage!" Everything we do would either encourage or discourage another It takes just that little prompting to make that right move or to take the wrong decision. Colossians 2:2 that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, Isaiah 41:10  Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.' God is the greatest motivator and that is why He told us through His Son that He would not leave us alone but would give us the Holy Spirit to guide us and help us. He would be that push that would keep us going day after day. John 14:16  "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide wi

PAUSE: exchange rightly

Isaiah 40:31  But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Many have traded their joy chasing over material things and the pleasures and satisfaction of the world. The question is "is it worth it?". Yes we must earn, work and keep improving day after day but we must remember "nothing is free". We must pay a price. So, what are we ready to sacrifice? Some have sacrificed, their: * health * peace of mind * children * marriage * calling * ministry * good name All in the bid to get material things. 2Timothy 4:10 for Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed for Thessalonica-- Crescens for Galatia, Titus for Dalmatia. There is always a process, we would get into trouble when we try to use the shortcut, to get it by all means and immediately. Let us be careful of what exchange we make! Let

LOVE (a reminder)

LOVE The greatest motivation should be love. Many serve God for fear of hell fire. Many avoid sin for fear of the repercussion of the law. But the first and summary of all commandments is LOVE. Joshua 23:11  "Therefore take diligent heed to yourselves, that you love the LORD your God. Deuteronomy 6:5 "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might. Deuteronomy 11:13 'And it shall be that if you diligently obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the LORD your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, Matthew 22:37 Jesus said to him, " 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' Matthew 22:40 "On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." God reached out to us through Love and He expects us to reach out to Him and to others through love. When every other thing fails and pa

THE FATAL URGE

James 1:14  But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. I believe everyone has that one thing we would have done if we didn't see it as wrong. There are also those things that are generally an enticement to everyone. What tragedy it is if ones enemy knows the weak point, that part that seems we do not have control over. It could be * anger * pride * lies * phobia * money * food * partying * sex We should remember: Titus 3:3 and 1Corinthians 6:11 For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.  And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. It is flesh, which we all have and which could very well desire to satisfy itself if we let it. But NO, we have mortified the flesh and its works, when we were born of the S

SALVATION

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:5  Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God The best illustration of salvation is the record we have in Acts chapters 10 and 11. We still have some who believed that good works was enough to enter God's kingdom. Some believed it was being under the law. Paul by the Holy Spirit was able to explain to us that it was God's grace. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,  not of works, lest anyone should boast. Cornelius in Acts 10 was a man known by God and man, as an upright man. He was described thus: Acts 10:2  a devout man and one who feared God with all his household, who gave alms generously to the people, and prayed to God always. * a devout man

WHEN "WHY" IS NECESSARY

1Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; I have heard many times this phrase "Do not question God", I really do not understand what concept it initiates from. Most likely when someone is bereaved and is in grief, it is believed that one shouldn't ask "why" the person had to leave at that time. One thing although is not argued. "We can question ourselves". Most people who break forth and make an impact in life, most likely initiated their breakforth from the "WHY" One of the most important question one can ask is "Why am I here?" Exodus 9:16  "But indeed for this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth. Romans 9:17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, "Even for this same purpose I h

EAGLE err

When a powerful eagle exposes itself to the land below: Everyone begin to think it is its place.  Some foolishly take it is as common.  Forgetting that the eagle still has its place at the high grounds dont take it for granted cause anything it lifts either goes as a friend with it to greater heights  or is dropped below to crash. For those who understand! Hello my friends.  @ the watcher

GOD OF MIRACLES

Psalm 75:6&7 For promotion [cometh] neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God [is] the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. Many believe that God's miracles are limited to healing, deliverances etc. However the truth is that God has no boundaries, His blessings have no limit. Ask Solomon! Even on earth He has the final say: Psalm 24:1 The earth [is] the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Psalm 118:23 This was the Lord's doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. We live in a time when knowledge abounds, science have made remarkable discoveries, new ways and technologies have been established. Man has discovered easy ways of doing things, faster ways of moving from place to place by land, air and water. This knowledge keeps increasing day after day. This is God's release of wisdom to man. Yet in all I still believe in miracles. I see it as a miracle, when I can not do it o

ARE YOU STILL IN THE SPIRIT?(a reminder)

Judges 16:20  And she said, "The Philistines are upon you, Samson!" So he awoke from his sleep, and said, "I will go out as before, at other times, and shake myself free!" But he did not know that the LORD had departed from him. When Jesus was to physically leave the earth He said He promised that the Father will give us the Spirit and yes He did. It is our duty to listen and obey. We cannot afford to get so busy or occupied that we do not know when the Spirit speaks to us, many a stress we could avoid and many a victory we miss when we neglect the Holy Spirit. God gave us His Spirit because of His love for us, it is up to us to appreciate this love and submit to the Spirit's leading. Romans 5:5  Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Our prayer life, bible study and good works is empowered by the Holy Spirit, He ensures we do it the right way. He knows all thi

SELFLESS WORSHIP (a reminder)

The gathering of God's children to worship Him is the duty of all believers, we come together as brethren to glorify God for who He is  and the sacrifice He made for us in His Son  Jesus Christ Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh Psalm 136:26  Oh, give thanks to the God of heaven! For His mercy endures forever. Yet because we are in this flesh we could get distracted by self and then  get carried away with activities, ego and physical appearances and begin to worship something else. That is why Paul by the Spirit  cautioned Timothy 1Timothy 2:8-10  Therefore I desire that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting; in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing,  but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with goo

OTHERS

Matthew 7:12  "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. We live in the times when many have become so self conscious that they think of themselves alone and no one else. It is always about how do I get, how do I gain, how am I better, how do I rule over and how do I take advantage??? Wisdom instead says: Philippians 2:4  Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. When we see men who have succeeded in achieving great things in life, one factor common to them is that they sought for solutions to problem facing others. * Abraham was the solution to a generation yet unborn * Joseph was to alleviate famine from Egypt * Daniel was to save the death of all the wise men in Babylon * Solomon was full of passion to lead Isreal aright * David wanted the problem of Goliath deleted * Lot was tired of the sin of Sodom, he tried to show love to strangers A thought f

UNSATISFIED

1Chronicles 4:9&10  Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, "Because I bore him in pain."  And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, "Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!" So God granted him what he requested. That feeling that comes, we feel that  we are more than this. Our vision eye opens, we see that where we are now is not where we ought to be. It is like an awakening, as if from a deep sleep. We ask ourself, why am I still held up here. We take stock and find ourself wanting. Just like every prompting that comes to a believer we cannot allow ourself be easily carried away. Therefore we must ask: * Am I being ungrateful? * Am I comparing myself to others? * Am I genuinely behind, have I tarried too long at that spot? * Do I have a vision of where I am headed? * Am I

YOU CAN BE THE TEACHER!

Hebrews 5:12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. We meet situations we have no control over, time and time again. Daniel found himself in a strange land with so much expected from him. Joseph found himself in a palace with so much to account for. David found himself in the war zone with a giant soldier treatening his people Lot found himself in a community full of unrepentant sinners whose atrocities knew no boundary Solomon found himself as king, when he ought to have been a rejected child "The situations are not always our making, yet the scripts, we can write" Instead of watching the scene as a spectator we could actually write the script by being "the teacher". Titus 2:7 In all things see that you are an example of good works; holy in your teaching, serious in behaviour. This instruction was actual

TRAPPED IN WHAT SEEMS

John 16:13  "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. When Jesus said that those born of the flesh are flesh and those born of the Spirit are spirit. He spoke of the kind of life we would live day after day. It is a hard thing to be led by those who do not have the Spirit. The same way it is great to have a gifted, talented and intelligent boss who knows how to take decision, the same way every leader must know what is to be done at each point in time. If God is leading a lot of errors could be avoided. How difficult it is to be led by those who are moved by their feelings or the atmosphere of the moment.  Those under them tend to suffer. Let us take a look at Saul: 1Samuel 14:24, 27 & 29 And the men of Israel were distressed that day, for Saul had placed the people under oath, saying, "Cursed is the ma

GOD WILL

Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Welcome to the beginning of a new week and a new month Yes * We have requests * We may have something bothering us * We have a big project, job or assignment on our hands * There is an issue in the family * We need a financial provision urgently * There is someone who needs healing * We have a matter to settle or an issue to resolve * Someone may have hurt or annoyed us * we await news, we wait for a report . . . .yes and maybe others not mentioned. Notwithstanding, today lay them all aside and just acknowledge Him who made us see today, give Him praise, worship Him, give Him thanks . . . Let's set today aside to recognise Him who made all things and who controls all things. Revelation 7:12  saying: "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen." Romans 16:27 to God, alone wise, be

STAY GOOD ALWAYS (a reminder)

People get acquainted with you because of one good nature or the other. Even in the place  of employment take you in because of one good quality or the other they believe you have. Matthew 5:16  "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Your good friends came close to you because of those good characteristics you carry. (although some might just be, cause of what they can get from you). Titus 3:8  This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men. In all as time passes by don't let those characteristic good qualities of yours fade away due to pressures, challenges or bad reaction of others. 1Peter 2:15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men-- Colossians 1:10  that you may have a walk worth

THANKS BE TO GOD

As we celebrate another independence day, we can reflect on how good God has been to us. 1Thessalonians 5:18 "in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." We know that it is because we have life that we can complain or make requests. It is good that each day, before  anything else we should give thanks to God for giving us life and for giving His Son "Yeshua, Jesus the Christ" in whom He has allowed all things to dwell.  Colossians 2:9  "For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;" If you have Jesus you have everything. Before anything else daily, we ought to give thanks. Romans 8:32  "He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?" Many nations have passed through less ordeals than ours and it led to massive bloodshed and disorder but God has been merciful to us. In all may God's will be done.
