SILENCE: pain or gain (a reminder)

1John 4:7
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

Silence could connote a lot of things.

* one wanting to be left alone
* anger
* pain
* thinking
* one in trouble
* not having much to say
* unhappiness
* stress
* a hidden ailment or disease
or even
* fear.
* could also be time to reflect and to make amends
* or maybe a time out to meditate

There is need for us to understand the reason behind any silence, cause though nothing might be wrong, a lot could also be wrong.

Those we call our loved ones should always be on our mind that we may know when something is wrong.

1Corinthians 12:25
that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.

One painful silence anyone could experience is when it seems God is not speaking.

Nothing is as painful as not knowing what God expects from us.

One thing is true God has given us medium(s) through which he communicates with us.

* the bible still stands, the written word
* the Holy Spirit
* gathering of believers
* dreams and visions

Whether we accept it or not. God speaks to our spirit and for us to always hear from Him our spirit must be alert.

Yet in all as we dwell here in this corrupting earth, our love shouldn't grow cold.

Let it not be only about "me"

* my vision
* my goals
* my dreams
my my my, me, mine

Let us reach out to those around us, with us and those looking up to us.

Ask about that silence.

It may be more than what you think.

Remember in all. Love will be the determining factor.

1Corinthians 13:8
Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.

It is well with you.

Hope you have spoken with God today?

God bless you.

Love
