Sons and the Rejected 2 (please read through and share with all your contacts)
Hebrews 10:38
Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, my soul has no pleasure in him."
We need to understand who we are, what God created, when He made man.
He made us in His image! selah
What Glory!
Yet what a responsibility.
We have the power to choose!
This is a blessing and it could also be a curse (don't get it wrong!)
Joshua 24:15
"And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
Proverbs 1:29
Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the LORD,
It is a wonder why the enemy was interested in man. What was man?
It is still our err today, the enemy tend to see what glory, what splender God made, and we who are this splendor, have no clue who or what we are!
If we had an idea of what a previlege it is for us to be man we would not play around with so great a salvation.
Matthew 13:44-46
"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls,
"who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.
We would study to understand, pray to relate, worship in appreciation and live to appreciate.
Our priorities would change, so also our attitude. We would really live!
Distractions have been there from the beginning, it is still here today. WE ARE NOT ALONE!
2Corinthians 11:3
But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
2Corinthians 2:11
lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.
Ephesians 6:12
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
We cannot afford to be the "it does not matter" christian, but believers who have studied themselves approved, not just listening, but hearing the word of the Lord.
We are not of those who draw back.
Hebrews 10:39
But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.
We are awake, we have a knowledge of who we are.
We are the wise virgins.
We know our God!
There would always be the rejected, so also the accepted.
We are the accepted.
We live by the Spirit!
Let us live that way.
1Corinthians 6:9 - 10
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,
nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
1John 2:26
These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you.
1John 2:27-2
But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.
And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.
If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.
The enemy has been defeated, he has already been sentenced.
Revelation 20:10
And the devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
However we await a glory, a joy, that which will make our falthfulness to God worth it.
We are not the rejected, We are the accepted. WE ARE SONS!
Revelation 21:4-7, 17
"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying; and there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."
And He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.
"He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. And whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
