Mark 6:31 Then Jesus said, “Let’s go off by ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile.” He said this because there were so many people coming and going that Jesus and his apostles didn’t even have time to eat. There a lot of things that is done out of order in the name of doing ministry work. It is important to note that those we work with are humans and they do need time out to rest just as you need to also. Even Christ acknowledged that. Listen, you are responsible to cater for your body, to keep it clean, feed it the right things and of course to rest. No one will do it for you. Note it is a great disservice for you to feed your body toxins. Yet people do it because they have created the cravings for it or sheepishly want to belong. Is this not foolishness? However our divine nature takes us further than that, it makes us buildup others (especially the weak). Psalm 85:13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set [us] in the way of his steps. When we read the Psalms we see more than just the singing of songs, or rhymes to poetry or writings. It is not just the memory of the experiences of the people of Israel or the happenings to David or the other kings of those times. We see revelation born out of true worship, praise and intercession to our Heavenly Father.
