TRUE WORSHIP

TRUE WORSHIP John 4:23  "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. John 1:18  No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. Man fell because of the seed of sin and therefore could not have fellowship with God as he ought to. We therefore had a sentence of death. Genesis 2:17  "but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." So through one man all became sinners Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, And therefore through one man all returns to God in righteousness Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. 2Corinthians 5:17  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have p...

WE LOVE?

WE LOVE? Talking of love! There are many stories and definition of Love. Yet the greatest of all is the one of Him who is above all things and from whom all things have their origin. He is the one who made us, "human" come to existence. He is Yaweh the Jehovah, God the Almighty. 1John 4:8  He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. God is love but His love is not an abstract one, His love made Him sacrifice His Son for us, that His blood will cleanse us from all sin, and then grant us the right to be children of God. 1John 4:9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. God loves us, in return what does He expect from us. Simple -  to love Him also. He even commanded it. Deuteronomy 6:5  "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might. Psalm 31:23  Oh, love the LORD, all you His saints! ...

MISPLACED RESPONSE( a reminder)

MISPLACED RESPONSE( a reminder) God loves us, He expects us to submit to Him. James 4:7  (GNB) So then, submit yourselves to God. Resist the Devil, and he will run away from you. Acts 7:51 (KJV) Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. The one we should resist is the devil. 1Peter 5:9   Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. There are most times two sides to every situation: * the negative and the positive, * the good and the bad, * the wise and the foolish, * the right and the wrong, * the truth and the lie, . . . the list goes on Error is when we accept the wrong response. The scriptures is clear on our response. Submit to God - - - - Resist the Devil. As simple as it seems it may look difficult because it is not a physical battle, but a battle in the mind and spirit. It is so if ...

GOD AND MONEY

GOD AND MONEY Money has been from time a means of exchange from its value in silver and gold till when we had the copper coins and then the paper legal tender. Any thing accepted as a means of exchange can be termed 'money' We could easily be swayed by the concept "money" forgetting that it is not about the money but what it can buy. For any spiritual being there is an understanding that money has its spirit, just like power and fame. It therefore could intoxicate, derail and still be a blessing. Luke 16:14  Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. Luke 16:13 No man may be a servant to two masters: for he will have hate for the one and love for the other; or he will keep to the one and have no respect for the other. You may not be servants of God and of wealth. Whenever caution is given about money it annoys those who love money even pastors and leaders. Yet every believer must be a financial membe...

God is still in control

God is still in Control 1Colossians 1:9  God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. There are times it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out. These times do come, yet it would not change who God is, what God has done and what He has said. His promise is still yes and amen. 2Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.  Please don't give up God is still in control Hebrews 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. It is not about how we feel, and not about what it seems, it is about what He Has promised and He who promised is sure to keep His Word. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to giv...

Give Thanks

GIVE THANKS As we awake to a new week, let us remember: 1Thessalonians 5:18 "in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." Remember that it is because you are alive that you can complain or make requests. Before anything else give thanks to God for giving you life and for giving His Son "Yeshua, Jesus the Christ" in whom He has allowed all things to dwell.  Colossians 2:9  "For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;" If you have Jesus you have everything. Before anything else daily my friend, give thanks. Romans 8:32  "He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?" Let us join the brethren in worship today. The week is already in God's hands. All is well. You are blessed. Love @ the watcher

WHAT DO YOU HAVE

What do you have? 1Corinthians 4:7  For who makes you differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive? Now if you did indeed receive it, why do you glory as if you had not received it? What we have at the "now" may not look as a big deal to us at the moment. However we need to remember that some seek it and yet do not have it. We cannot afford to be blinded by the desire for more so much as not to appreciate that which we have now. We  must be able to use what we have (already) been given. Let us remember that we will give account of all that we have been given and that Luke 12:48b  . . . For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. There is nothing wrong in desiring to be better, greater, richer or to achieve more. The issue is when we do not appreciate what we have or where we are already so much as to fulfil the purpose for which God allowed us ...
