GOD IS THERE

Psalm 46:10

Be still, and know that I [am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.


Those of us who may be carried away with the feeling that "God is not there"!


This is not true!


The sons of Korah in Psalm 46 knew that same feeling, they did not argue the power of God. Remember that they knew the story of their fathers, the mystery of the miracles, wonders and victory over the enemies. They did not doubt the power of God, the question was "was God there, will He help us?"


I have personally found myself telling our Heavenly Father. "Your power to help me is not questionable, there is no doubt, but will You help me, will You do it?"


The truth is that we only see and know in part, He knows all and thus can make the best decisions.


One thing is certain, He has the final say and when He says it, every other opinion or voice is "shut up".


He told them, "these Egyptians you see today, you will see them no more" and that was it, even up till today.


He told Hezekiah "not a single arrow would be shot into this city", that was a full stop.


Psalm 46:5

God [is] in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, [and that] right early.


No one who puts their trust in the Lord is disappointed, none.


Psalm 46:1&2

God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;


So when the sea rages, remember that it is He who created the sea that has you covered, when the mountains shake, remember that it is the architect that got you in His hands.


Let us light our faith up. We know in whom we believe and trust. It is well with us. We have the victory, God is there! Glory to His name forevermore.


We are victorious.

NEVER TAKE REVENGE!

Romans 12:19 Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge;I will pay them back,” says the lord. Offences would surely come as we continue our journey here on earth. One thing we must learn to do is never to act when we are angry. Almost one hundred percent of the time, if we reflect on it, we find that we regret our actions. It is not that we do not get angry, the bible teaches that even when we do, it should not lead us to sin. Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: If an enemy hurts us, well what do we expect from an enemy. However betrayal is when a friend intentionally hurts us.
