COME LET'S PRAISE THE LORD

Psalm 33:1

Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: [for] praise is comely for the upright.


It is a privilege to praise God. Do you know that before man was created, God was praised? Reading through scriptures you see praise from angels and the elders bowing. So, you do yourself good to be part of the praise.


Who should know this more than the maestro himself, the man of worship, David.


He talked of worship on the instruments. Today's guitar, piano, drums, cymbals and all other musical equipment.

Even the loud music, it all belongs to Him.

We sing new songs, for His Spirit in us empower us to worship. Halleluyah


Psalm 33:3

Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.


We should remember that when we worship the Heavenly Father we remember all His glorious works just as David did. He said,


Psalm 33:6-7

By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.


True believers live the life of worship.


No one can achieve any great thing without the Lord permitting. For it is the Lord that lifts up.


Psalm 33:16

There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.


Above all, the eyes of the Lord is upon us who trust in Him.


Psalm 33:18

Behold, the eye of the LORD [is] upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;


Nothing happens to His own without his knowing. He keeps and preserves us.


2Thessalonians 3:3

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep [you] from evil.


Amen.


Yes we will rejoice, we will glorify the name of our God. He has made all things well. Halleluyah.


Psalm 33:21

For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.


Heavenly Father, receive my praise as I join all in heaven and earth to give You praise. For who You are, for what You have done and for what You will yet do. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


We are victorious.

WHEN YOU HAVE KEPT ALL THE LAWS

(please read with understanding this message has been kept for days but had to be published now after Sunday's programme in GC) Luke 18:21-22 And he said, "All these I have kept from my youth."  So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, "You still lack one thing. THAT SILENT PRAYER

Psalm 66:19  But certainly God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer. There are times we feel God is slow. We hear our self say things like, I have been waiting on the Lord for this and for that. It seems to us that the Lord desires that we should pray, pray and pray before we get that which we desire. We may not be able to explain why some things do delay, or do not actually come to pass, the moment we declare them. One thing is sure though: 1Peter 2:2b   but now you have come back to him who keeps watch over your souls. Psalm 34:7  The angel of the Lord is ever watching over those who have fear of him, to keep them safe.
