THE MEEK WILL ENJOY GOD'S GLORY

Psalm 25:9-10

The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

All the paths of the LORD [are] mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

We know that the greatest glory is not in this present world but the one after here. Though many of us (including me writing) may have become so conscious of this present place. However where we are headed after here is more important.

The Lord who promised us long life is also interested in our stay here too.

That is why Christ said to the faithful:

Luke 18:30

Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

Halleluyah.

It is the proud that would assume that they could live without God it is mere foolishness.

Listen to Sennacherib's experience:

Isaiah 37:10-11

“This message is for King Hezekiah of Judah. Don’t let your God, in whom you trust, deceive you with promises that Jerusalem will not be captured by the king of Assyria.

You know perfectly well what the kings of Assyria have done wherever they have gone. They have completely destroyed everyone who stood in their way! Why should you be any different?

...

Hear God's reply:

...

Isaiah 37:29

And because of your raging against me and your arrogance, which I have heard for myself, I will put my hook in your nose and my bit in your mouth. I will make you return by the same road on which you came.”

No matter what the enemies or the powers try, we are covered by Him even in this present life. They can make all the threats and use whatever tactics and manipulations, the  Lord will always put them to shame.

Psalm 25:5

Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou [art] the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Like David we are refreshed every day. The Spirit of God gives us a new freshness as we go from day to day.

We have something greater than what David had, more is even expected from us.

Psalm 25:9

The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

Remember the Lord does not like the proud. Never get to the stage where you feel you have it all figured out. We keep leaning on Him.

Our sins have been forgiven, we are called by His name. Much is expected from us for much has He given us. So help us Good Lord.

Loving Father, all the praise be to You Lord for You have given us that which our elders of old could only talk about, we are grateful Lord. Help us to stay faithful and to fulfil Your will here on earth. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

We are victorious.

Love

@the watcher.
